What I know about pyramid scam is a fraudulent system of making money Based on recruiting an ever-

increasing number of investors. The initial promoters recruit investors who in return recruits more
investors and so on.

The pyramid scams don’t focus on products and services, the pyramid scam focus on the recruitment
where the potential profits stems primarily from recruiting other investors and not from the sale of
products.

The difference between multi-level marketing and pyramid scheme is the pyramid scheme is not
involving any products or distributorship, the profit comes from the investors. while the multi-level
marketing is selling products directly to consumers without intermediary retail stores. they are using the
sale of products as profits.

The difference between a legitimate multi-level a legitimate multi-level marketing company and a
pyramid scheme is a legitimate multi-level marketing company emphasizes reliable products or services.
A pyramid scheme uses products or services to disguise its quest for collecting money from the investors
on the bottom levels to pay other investors schemes further up to the pyramid.

Pyramid business on the Philippines is legitimate because there are many pyramid business in the
Philippines is emerging for the example the Front Row, the front row is still operating even though we
all know how this pyramid business run. They use products to disguise its quest for collecting money
from the investors on the bottom levels to pay other investors, a new investors must pay a fee for the
right to sell the products as well as for the right to recruit other into the pyramid for rewards unrelated
to product sales or services. Just like what I’ve said before the front row has the same operating
business like this, i will share a short story how I know why I know how they operate it. One of my
friends introduce this kind of business theyre distributor wants us pay a fee for the right to sell their
products.

I don’t think that they are different from each other they are both scam that earn money from the
investor and both deceiving their investor to recruit more investors and collect money from them. The
only thing that they are different from each other is the way or how they collect the money or how this
scheme run. But all in all they are both the same.

If ever na mag may ari ako nang isang pyramid scam I cant make money without recruiting anyone
because there is no profit that will coming in on my investment scam. The investor is the life blood of
this scam.

I don’t think that they can earn money without a downlines, it is possible if this is an investment scam or
pyramid scheme.

recommend.

No I haven’t tried. But one of my common friend is introducing this to me but I disagree to join their
organization because their distributor want me to pay 6k to join and to sell their products, and from the
very beginning I smell something suspicious in this kind of business that why I disagreed.

Yes there is a need to validate his/her complaint if its true or not, if he/she reporting a true report, and
to know if this not a false report and to know what happen to the crime, and to know if this complainant
is related to the crime. We can use his statement as evidence against him if he falsely reported or if this
complainant is the actual perpetrator.

If I’m an investigator the first thing that I should do is should be mentally prepared, know the type of
person to be interviewed- the complainant, select proper time and place, develop list of questions which
must be answered, decide whether to take notes during interviewing (tape record, written, video)

For me there is no need to be strict while asking or interviewing the complainant. because the more you
act strict while questioning the complainant the more they limit they answers, it will provide them fear
to Talk much, you should be friendly and wise to feel the complainant that they are comfortable and
freely to answer. Because of that we gather more information.

conducting it while the interrogation is using force to let the person make a statement
