The warranty herein described will only de valid if the certificate is properly filled out on the
informative manual upon purchase of the equipment an should be presented in case of
complains without any blotting or moifications.
MAGNETEC INDÚSTRIA ELETROELETRÕNICA LTDA warrants the operability of this
system within the limits of this certificate, against any manufacturing defect within 12 (twelve)
months counting from the date of sale to the first buyer.
The responsability of MAGNETEC - INDÚSTRIA ELETROELETRÔNICA LTDA is limited o
repairing or replacing defective parts, provided he failure happens in normal conditions of use
and operation and it oes include the replacement of the euipment a new one.
MAGNETEC - INDÚSTRIA ELETROELETRÔNICA LTDA does not assume any
responsability for any harm, injury or loss of any part or the whole equipment which may happen
on transportation company and any injury should be charged to it.
This warranty becomes null and void if the equipment suffers ny damage caused by
accident, forces of nature (humidity, dew, storms, etc.), normal wear of parts, use and installation
not in accordance to the instructions supplied with the equipment, connection to an improper
electricity network, deects caused by third-party equipment or use of improper replacement
parts
The validity of this warranty is conditioned to the equipment being installed as directed on
the isntruction manual. Expenses for installation and material, as well as any adaptatin on the
installations place, are the responsability of the buyer.
During the warranty, repairs will be made without any charge to the buyer when they are
performed in factory, but expenses for outside maintenance with transportation (mong the
equipment to and from the factory for repair), travelling, hotel and manpower for removal and
reinstatement of the equipment, packaging for transportation, any damage during transportation
and replacement of parts considered consumable, like batteries and fuses are responsability of
the buyer.

CHANGE
PASSWORD
Now the user can change the factory-preset password to a specific one this
own access.

First press the "F " key again to select the first password digit. The first zero
will be underlined. From this point you should press the ñ or ò keys as many
times as needed to reach the desired number for the underlined digit.

When the first password digit is selected and displayed, press the "F " key and
underline goes to the next digit, which should also be selected by means of
the ñ ou ò key.

Proceed identicaly to obtain the third and the fourth password digits.

When the last digit is slected, press "F " again and the following message will
be displayed:

In place of the xx there will be the new password digits, but it will be necessary
to change the option from “NO” to “YES” by pressing the ñ, key for the system
to store the new password. Or you may not want to store this a new password,
so leave the option on “NO” or change back to it (if it is”YES”) by pressing the
ò key.
After the selection, press the "F “ key again to return to the normal control
operations.

Function calibrations:
A - SENSIBILITY
When the "F " key is pressed the screen
below will be displayed, where the
sensibility value will appear insteaed of the
"X".
The sensibility value can be selected between 01
and 99 by means of the ñ or ò keys. After the
desired value is reached, press the "F " key to
store it and return to the detection proxcedures.

B - AUTO CALIBRATION

By pressing the "F " key the screen on the side is

displayed. Once the option is selected, confirm
by pressing "F "again.

Use the arrows to select the YES option on auto

calibration and confirm by pressing “F”. The
panel will read “WAIT” and an intermittent sound
will be heard. After a few seconds the panel will
read “PROCEED” and the sound will stop.
This should happen three times.
Pass the object to be detected normally three
times in different positions, as shown on the
picture below. Observe the display, as it will
indicate the exact moment to pass the object.

SYSTEM STARTUP:
The screens on the side are displayed
during the period when the microprocessor
performs the equipment evaluation and setup
procedures.
During this auto-setup procedure an
intermittent sound will be heard and the
manufacturer`s name, model and serial number
of the equipment will be displayed.
When system startup is finished , the
sound will stop, the initial screen will be
displayed again and the equipment will be
ready to perform metal detection.
While active, the processor will be constantly
verifyng the subsystems that make up the
detector, whether or not is analyzing the
presence of metal.
PASSWORDS:
By pressing the “F” key password

alternated between regular password or

INSTRUCTIONS
Read the manual carefully before installing and/or operating the device.
Installing:
- Check whether the electrecity is properly installed, including a dedicated
circuit breaker for the equipment.
- Observe the tension on the installetion’s place (110 or 220 V), before turning
on the device.
Carefully observe all procedures regarding installation, use and maintenance
of device and the instructions contained in this manual.
- Do not use excessive force when operating or installing the device.
Before miving the equipment, be sure the power cables are disconnected.
Warning: MAGNETEC does not assume responsability over the device’s
opertation if it is installed in any of the conditions below:
- Wooden or uneven floor;
- Absence of a dedicated circuit breaker for the device;
- Hollowed ceiling, iron structure, metal doors, windows and iron curtains can
cause false detection if badly fixed;
- Incorrectly fixed metal pieces on the detector;
- Oscillation on the eletricity;
- Nearby sources of electromagnetic interference like transformers or motors;
- Electric piping passing near the door, even on the floor;
