consulting contract. You are free to us another format if it will improve the effectiveness of
the consulting engagement.

1. What is our major problem?

The major problem in HGC is lack of focus on certain things that emerge in bad time.
Projects are not meeting deadlines and are coming over budget.

the need to focus on certain things like solving conflicts, that occur among projects, also they
need to have a plan to manage personnel working on projects related to the company. Last
but not least they need a strong management team to support new innovative ideas to
maintain HGC a successful company.

2. Identify some symptoms of the problem.

 Managers are not meeting deadlines and are coming in over budget.
 When conflicts occur, each manager believes his or her project is more important.
 They need more focus to ensure everyone agrees on how strategy should be
implemented, given the resources available to the organization.

3. What is the major cause of the problem?

The major cause of the problems is that they do not have a strong strategic plan to
manage such a fast-growing company.

Provide a detailed action plan that attacks the problem. Ber specific and provide examples
that relate to HGC.
