Input and Output characteristics of Common emitter:

Input characteristics are plotted between Vbe versus Ib by keeping VCe constant.
By varying supply voltage across the input junction, the voltage and current are
observed. The input characteristics are like input characteristics of the PN
junction diode, a cut-in voltage of 0.6 is observed.
Output Characteristics are plotted between Vce versus Ic by keeping Ib constant.
By varying supply voltage at the output junction, the voltage and current is
observed. In Active mode, the current increased linearly, whereas in saturation
mode the current remains constant and in cut-off mode, the current is almost
zero.
