• Sports Park means any facility designed and constructed
as a public realm for public entertainment and recreation
by the presentation of sporting, athletic and cultural or
other events and exhibitions.

• This Center acts as a urban village amongst the trees that


create a public space that integrates locals with visitors
with similar interests of pursuing an active lifestyle and
wellbeing.

• This recreation centre includes various indoor and out-


door sporting facilities , training centres, squares,yoga
space, amphitheatres,museum,cafeteria,library,cycling
lane etc
need for this project
• As far as Chennai is concerned, there is no particular
parks specializing in sports and leisure as a whole in
the city.
• This place will improve the value and bring forth the
need for a social hub and will improve the communtiy
and quality of life .

Aim and Objective:


• This project aims to overcome this and put forward a
well suited solution of being the source of linking rec-
reational , sports and cultural architecture the city
has been lacking.
• to propose an exclusive recreational sports park while
incorporating urban landscape and leisure, cultural
and exhibit spaces
• to promote a healthy and outdoor lifestyle merging
with nature as a routine of life
• to develope a strong urban landscape node
emphasize on masterplan level
