    Estimate the patients 8 hour (3pm-11pm) intake:

    1. IVF @ 25cc/hr continuous

    25cc x 8hrs= 200cc

    2. TPN @ 50cc/hr continuous

    50cc x 8hrs= 400cc

    3. Lipids at 10cc/hr for 12 hours (8pm-8am)

    8pm-9pm= 10cc

    9pm-10pm=10cc

    10pm-11pm=10cc

    Total: 30cc

    4. NGT feeds @ 25 cc/hr continuous

    25cc x 8hrs = 200cc

    5. 2 units of blood – 250ml/unit – first unit at 10am/ second unit at 4pm

    The first unit is already given during the morning shift, thus only a total of 250ml is given
    during my shit at 4pm.

    =250ml

    6. IV Vancomycin – 250ml every 12 hours at 8am/8pm

    =250 ml of IV Vancomycin is given at 8pm.

    Total Intake of Patient for 8 hours (3pm-11pm) shift: 1,330 mL
