What I Need to Know

Estimating is part of our daily routine. We encounter it

unknowingly like, walking from home to school we estimate our
time so as reach school on time, we estimate prices of good before
going to the grocery store to know our budget and many more.
This module contains activities which you learners need to
undertake. Just be ready with your pencil and a scrap papers.
To start, you have to take the Pre Test for you to assess what
you already know about the topic. Then go over the succeeding
activities provided to master the competency. Don’t hesitate to ask
for help if you need it. Finally, take the posttest to assess how much
you learned.
For the facilitators, be ready to extend help as the learner is
doing the activities for they may have something to clarify. If the
activities are not clear to you feel free to call the developer or ask
the help of other adult.
Learning Objective:
 Estimate the sum of 3-4 digit numbers up to three addends
with sums up to 10,000 without and with regrouping.
