Responsibilities:
 Provide advice and consultation to assigned area to assist them in maintaining a safe working environment in
compliance with safety regulations, standards, safety management system, procedures and practices.

RESPONSIBILITIES AS HSE ENGINEER


 Develop a project specific HSE Plan and its supporting documentation for onward submission along with
proposal to the customer.
 Perform Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and risk mitigation control activities pertaining to the Health,
Safety & Environment. Ensure that JHA’s are prepared prior to start of any activity.
 Supervise and conduct incident investigations to perform incident evaluation by analyzing the root cause to
place effective corrective and preventive measures.
 Attend daily, weekly, and monthly review meetings to learn about areas that need improvement and then lead
dedicated task forces to perform the dispositions within the agreed target date.
 Participate in scheduled site inspections to ensure the health & safety of plant, tools & equipment and share
the findings for further improvement at ground level.
 Develop project specific training modules and train the personnel.
 Responsible for activities like HSE publications, incentive and accountability schemes, daily toolbox talks and
daily HSE walks.
 Ensure that all operating plant, tools and equipment meet projects HSE standards prior to its deployment at
project site.
 Ensure implementation of project approved HSE Plan for the subcontracted scope of work.
 Liaise with site management and to effectively manage injured workers and claims to minimize negative
