    Laboratory Activity No. 1

    COMMON LABORATORY APPARATUS

    I. OBJECTIVES
    At the end of the activity, the students must have,
    a. identified and gave the uses of some commonly used apparatus;
    b. drawn some of the laboratory apparatus; and
    c. familiarized some commonly used laboratory apparatus to be used in chemistry.

    II. APPARATUS
    *Refer to the unit 1 of your course/learning guide, chemistry textbooks and/or any reading
    materials available. Internet resources can be also of great help for this purpose.

    III. PROCEDURE

    1. Examine the laboratory apparatus in Unit 1 of your course/learning guide.


    2. Make a sketch of each in the box provided in the data table.
    3. Below each drawing, give its description and use.
    4. Draw at least 20 of these familiar apparatus in the table provided.
