Subject: GUIDING CHILDRENS BEHAVIOR AND MORAL DEVELOPMENT

Code/Days & Time: E294/ TTH (4:30 – 6:00)

Name: Jennena D. Abalos
Activity 1. Responding with Positive Discipline
1. Continuous crying
 Often the problem in class is that children cry in class because they can't
see their parent because they want their parent to be watching. The best
way I can do as a future teacher is to provide a bell and explain to them
that their parents will be waiting for them outside and if they hear the bell
ring that's the time they can go out and in case they need anything to their
parents just tell me and I will accompany them to their parents.
2. No assignment or projects
 The first step I will take is to talk to the child's parents about what is
happening to their child without passing assignments or projects, maybe
because there is no communication between parents and child at home or
I will ask if there is a problem with their child when they come home.
Second step I will talk to the child if there is a problem in class, if it is
difficult to understand the topic, if there is a problem with the classmate or
at home.
3. Grabbing other’s belonging
 As a future teacher, what I will do is talk to the child about why he/she is
taking what he/she is not using without informing the owner and I will also
tell the child that he/she can get something that can be passed through a
proper request to ask if he/she can borrow something
4. Disruptive Behavior
 I will talk to the child why he/she did not stop talking in class and if he/she
has a problem with his/her studies. I will also talk to the parents maybe
because he/she is not given attention at home so he/she becomes like
that in the classroom. I also told the parents that they should give their
child attention, maybe because he/she lacks attention from the parents, so
their child becomes like that in class.
