Mediator1- Goodevening everyone I hope everyone is doing well in these testing times

First of all I would like to extend my heartiest appreciation to both the parties for agrreing to
resolve the conflict peacefully and amicably by preferring mediation. The fact tht all of you
are here on this virtual table shows your willingness for common resolution.we hope that this
session will bring fruitful result to both the parties and the prties will rech a consensus that is
benifitable for both the country. Before starting the session I would like both the parties to
mute their mike when they are not speaking and cross check their connection.I would also like
to mention that this is a 80 minutes session.

I believe tht this process of mediation might be new to the parties and hence I and my co-
counsel would like to acquaint the parties with the process of mediation.

It is a opportunity for both the parties to work on your differences. It is a flexible, confidential
and voluntary process for both the parties.

Our role as a mediator would be to facilitate the process and help you to reach to the outcome
through this process.. we would not tell you what to do, we do not judge whi is wrong or right
here. Also we do not give you any advice or suggestion. We would maintain utmost .
confidentiality and the things which are being discussed here will not go outside. Now I would
like to ask my co mediator to explain some key elements of mediation.
