Students:

As the second-half of the course is about to begin I wanted to get the course outline for OB
posted so you could get some idea about how the chapters will flow for the remaining part of the
semester. By now you are probably familiar with the text and the volume of reading. My suggestion is
to as best you can, keep up with the reading so if you have questions you can address them is class.
There will be four major exams and no quizzes. Exam 1 is a take-home exam that will be handed-out
March 9 after you take the Pediatric ATI. The take-home exam is due April 18, 2011. Also on the day
you take your Pediatric ATI, I will hand-out your Maternal Newborn ATI books. I am looking forward to
getting back in the classroom to teach my favorite subject and to helping you to better understand the
birthing process. RAB
