away from the heart while veins take blood to the heart
4. How can we take care of our circulatory system? By eating healthy and exercising.
5. Match the brain area to its function. (You can do so by using “shapes” or highlighting
the area of the brain in the same color as its function)

Cerebrum Connects the brain to the spinal cord and controls


essential functions such as breathing.

Spinal Cord Relays messages between your brain and the nerves in
your body.

Cerebellum Analyzes information from sense organs. It’s


responsible for thinking abilities such as reasoning,
planning, and problem solvong.
Brain Stem Helps contol coordination and balance.
