1. Cultural and Global issues that affect communication in the country

Through globalization, communication becomes easy. Cultural and Global Issues affect communication
through its effectivity on the people themselves. It may be affecting us individually or as a group hence may
spark miscommunications or positive interactions. In Cultural issues, we may use as an example our
language barrier in our own country. Since the Philippines is a multilingual nation with more than 170
languages, some languages are unknown and only accessible to particular types of people, either the natives
or people who grew up in a specific place. Through these languages, the barriers are sometimes: Find it hard
to interact, Hard to come to an understanding, or hard to communicate overall. Conflicting values are also
sight as cultural issues that affect communication in the country. Culture is like an iceberg. What we see are
behaviors, that are manipulated by the invisible values under the waterline. Cultural clashes happen when
other people’s behavior compromises our values. Another example of cultural issues is our unique way of
thinking and understanding situations that may figure in or be the subject of communication.

The global issues that affect communication are the language barrier- only a few people may know their
language to speak or write. The difference of government system-government system also affects
communication since it mostly makes the decisions to either allow or enable its citizens to have knowledge
and ability to communicate to other people from outside their jurisdiction. The sudden rise of issues in
specific countries- may affect communication in ways such as banning people from their country or cutting
communications due to a much larger issue that made that particular area inaccessible for people. Global
issues are pretty vague and can only be considered an issue that affects communication, subjectively on
people. Or it is considered to be a threat more than an issue before it is no longer up to the mass population
to decide.

2. Impact of communication on society and the world

Good communication develops our society into progress because it improves good human relations in
the industry. It also builds strong business and personal relationships because you learn to understand what
people want and how to give it to them. It can also help us to resolve issues regarding our society. In today's
political and socio-economic change, communication can play a decisive role in promoting development. By
fostering a dialogue between rural people and other sectors of society, communication processes can
empower both women and men to provide information and knowledge as a basis for change and innovation,
take decisions concerning their livelihood, and thereby increase their overall involvement in development.
Communication is a vital part of society. It plays a lot of roles, and it is essential for survival. Because of
communication, we can stay connected with each other. People use it to encourage, share ideas, connect,
inform, and more. People may not speak the language of another culture, or communicate verbally, but
gestures, visual cues, body language, sign language, and other communication methods can also be used to
connect with others. Additionally, communication has also been positively impacted by new technological
advancements, which allow folks to communicate despite language barriers. With the help of good
communication, it creates good relationships with each other.
Communication educates people all around the world and is essential to the cognitive development of
society as a whole. Although people may know different ways of communicating with each other, the goal is
always the same — to express oneself and to gain knowledge. Without communication, there will be a
misunderstanding. And when there is a misinterpretation, there will be no peace in our world.
