A Smile Healing

When someone's having a bad day,
A smile could go a long way,
So make sure to put one on
And keep it until the day is gone.
You don't know what this deed
Could do for a friend in need.
It might save them from the pain
Of a sadness they cannot contain.
Don't ask what a smile can do
Because I'm sure it once helped you.
Having someone to help you is great,
Especially when they're always there.
A poem can be a good mate -
Lift you up when you can't bear.
It can help you through the pain,
Never to leave you standing alone,
Guiding and healing till you rise again.

2. Compare the two poems above by identifying the similarities and differences of them.
3. Study the style of Malak Meleka’s poems.
4. Find and rewrite the motif you found in Malak Meleka’s A Smile. Identify you findings to
what elements is categorized (image, description, idea, or other elements).
