please, PLEASE give this system a try for the next 30 days.

In practically no time at all, you’ll start seeing and feeling


many of these wonderful ‘side effects.’

And you deserve it.

Here’s Why I Created This Little Book

It wasn’t that long ago that someone I respect suggested I start


each day with a period of gratitude. Because of my mindset at the
time, it took all my strength to keep from rolling my eyes.

You see, I was a pragmatic, “nothing but the facts”,


Newtonian physics-only kind of dude. In fact, I used to make fun
of all that ‘woo-woo’ stuff.

In spite of my skepticism, once I looked into it, the research


was overwhelming. And I simply could NOT ignore it. So I made
the decision to do my own little gratitude experiment.

The results were immediate and amazing. Ever since then,


every day, and often several times a day, I do my gratitude
practice. And it always pays off in ways that still surprise and
delight me.

That’s why I decided to gift you this book. I believe that if


you’ll do this simple and easy gratitude practice every day for the
next 30 days, wonderful things will start happening in your life,
too. Things that you never could have previously imagined.

It only takes a few minutes a day and even if you only get a
handful of the potential benefits I described a few minutes ago, it
will be more than worth it.

Based on that, let’s dive right in and talk about...

How To Use This Book

It’s easy. Simply do the following:

First thing in the morning, find a quiet place where you can be
free from distractions for a few minutes.

Close your eyes and take six breaths in the following manner...

• Inhale for six seconds...

• Hold for six seconds...

• Exhale for eight seconds then hold for a count of two


before repeating the cycle.

Do this entire cycle six times.

After your six breaths, sit quietly and breathe normally for a
few minutes. Observe whatever thoughts or feelings might come
up during this time.

Next, open your 30 Day Gratitude Challenge book and do the


following steps:

1. Record the date

2. Write your daily intention for that day This can be a


goal or even just a desire to be in a certain state. For
example, “I will treat everyone I meet today with love
and compassion.”

3. Write three different things you are grateful for. Feel to


free to expound on why you’re grateful... but it’s not
necessary. Simply expressing your gratitude is enough.

4. Write what you think would make this a great day for
you.

5. Write a daily affirmation that resonates with you and


makes you feel good.

6. Circle your present happiness level, with one being the
lowest and 10 being the highest. (Because things that
get measured often improve.)

That’s it! It’s as simple as that.

There’s a page a day in this book for the next 30 days. Once all
the pages are filled, you’ll know that you’ve completed the
challenge.

All it takes is a grand total of five minutes maximum each day.


And if your experience is like mine, in only a matter of days -- or
maybe even almost immediately -- you’ll start to experience some
of the benefits I told you about earlier.

As you continue with The 30 Day Gratitude Challenge and it gets


established as a habit, your results will get even better. The most
important thing is that you express your gratitude every day.
How you do that isn’t really important. So feel free to tweak and
adapt the process if you like.

For example, here’s a little tweak I added. I used to express my


gratitude for the knights in my Marketing Camelot every day as a
group. But for some reason, saying thank you to a group of people
didn’t feel like it adequately expressed my true gratitude. So now
I do this instead...

Every morning I get a report showing all the recurring


Marketing Camelot charges for that particular day. I look at the
names of each knight on that report and say “thank you” to each
knight by name. Then I take a few seconds to imagine great things
happening for him or her.

Sure, it takes more time to thank each knight by name instead


of just doing it as a group... but that just FEELS better to me. As
‘woo-woo’ as this might sound, I feel a much deeper emotional
connection to each knight when I express my gratitude this way. It

seems to be a more effective way for me to convey my deepest
gratitude to each one of my knights.

As you continue this daily gratitude practice, it’s likely that


you’ll also discover adaptations and tweaks that resonate with
you. If so, trust your intuition and do what feels right. As long as
you’re expressing your gratitude each day, regardless of how you
do it, it’ll produce results.
