Enea Hat

A perfect simple hat comes in a huge variety of sizes, quick and easy knit in a simple
structure pattern, bottom up in the round. Optional you can add a pompom to your
hat

It’s recommended to fix the pompom just with a slip knot to make it detachable

Skills: knit in the round, magic loop method or work with dpn’s, decreases, making
pompoms

Sizes: 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 6

To fit head circumference <38 / <43 / <47 / <52 / <55 / <60 cm (15 /17 / 18.5 / 20.5 /
21.5 / 23.5 inch ) which corresponds with 0-3 m / 3-6 m / 6-12m / 2-5y / 6+ and small
adult heads / normal-large adult heads

The Hat is very stretchy and can be worn for a long time

Height: 13 / 16 / 19 / 19 / 21 / 23 cm (5 / 6 / 7.5 / 7.5 / 8 / 9 inch)

Ease: the hat is worked with around 4 / 5 / 6 / 7 / 7 / 7 cm (1.5 / 2 / 2.5 / 2.75 / 2.75 /
2.75 inch) of negative ease.

Needles: circular needle and / or double pointed needles 4.5 mm (US 7)


You can work complete hat with circular needles using magic loops method
or start with circular needles and switch later to double pointed needles.

Gauge: 16st/30r – 10/10 cm (4” / 4”) worked with needle 4,5 mm in the structured
pattern stitch (size 1-8 of the main part), measure gauge swatch non stretched

Yarn: Drops Nepal


65% wool 35% alpaca - 65 m /50g

45 / 62 / 72 / 80 / 100 / 120 m (49 / 68 / 79 / 87,5 / 110 / 131 yard) for hat and around
10 g for the pompom

You can use any yarn that matches the gauge (aran weight)

You need:
• Stitch markers (1 for BOR)
• Tapestry needle
