Greeting
Since its foundation on April 1st, 1979, Hyundai Minuteness has
specialized in manufacturing recoil spring assemblies and idler
assemblies, core parts for the construction of heavy equipment,
which requires the highest of quality based on accumulated
technology and trust. Starting with the provision of products to
the Equipment Department of Samsung Heavy Industries, we
currently provide our products to Volvo Korea. With the develop-
ment of a steer axle assembly, a steering apparatus for forklift
trucks in May 1999, and its export to Clark German factory, we
have also provided products to Clark Materials Handling Asia.

To ensure competitiveness and develop new markets, we es-

tablished a plan to construct a manufacturing facility in China
in January 2005, established a Chinese branch in December
and completed construction in January 2006. With the develop-
ment of materials and human resources since April 2006, we
started providing axle shafts to an electric-powered wheelchair
manufacturer,Lind IND(Shanghai), in May of the same year and
currently provide electric-powered wheelchair frames to the Is-
raeli Afikim and the Korea Care Line. We also started providing
locally produced recoil spring assemblies and idler assemblies to
Volvo Construction Equipment Shanghai factory in January 2007
and recoil spring assemblies to the Shandong Lingong Factory
in China, which was then taken over by Volvo, beginning June
2010. We have been providing locally produced steer axle as-
semblies to Clark Forklift Factory in Qingdao, China since De-
cember 2007.

For Small Excavators
Idler Assembly
Installed on the lower frame of an excavator and located in the front section
of caterpillars, the idler plays the role of guide to help the caterpillar make
infinite rotations while the recoil spring cushions shock on the caterpillar.

Cylinder Ass’y

Recoil Spring Assembly
Installed on the lower frame of an excavator and assembled with the Idler Ass’y,
it maintains steady tension for the caterpillar to allow it to rotate and absorbs
shock into the idler when colliding with an obstacle in front.

ll For medium-sized excavators (14-29 tons), Recoil Spring Ass’y integral to the built-in

Ass’y, it maintains steady tension for the caterpillar by
adjusting the length of the cylinder and pistons.
