RULES FOR DECLAMATION CONTEST

1. This Contest is open to all Departments of the University.

2. Each Speaker is allowed to speak for a maximum time of 5 Minutes.
3. Points will be deducted for those speakers unable to wind up within the allowed time.
4. The Speakers will be assessed by the Panel of Judges and their Decision will be FINAL.
5. Paper Reading is NOT Allowed, Speaker(s) violating this rule will be disqualified.
6. Negative points will be charged to the speaker(s) continuing their speech after the FINAL
Bell.
7. Each Speaker is only allowed to speak in a single language.
8. No Speaker is allowed to point out, degrade or de-publicize any Gender, Religion, Ethnic
Group, Political and State Officials etc.
9. Cash Prize will be awarded to the Winner (First only), and certificates will be awarded to
all the participants.

RULES FOR QUIZ COMPETITION

There will be three (3) Rounds

First Round
There will be 5 Questions, if a participant answers any three (3) questions, he/she will
proceed to Next round.

Second Round
There will be four (4) Questions, if participant answer any three (3) questions he/she will
be eligible for Final round.

Final Round
There will be only three (3) Questions and the participant who will answer the maximum
number of Questions will be the WINNER.

Sudden Death Round (in case of Tie)

The participants will be asked a Tie breaking Question.

The Winner will be awarded with cash prize and certificate whereas the other
participants will be awarded certificates.
