1. Decision Making and Decision Making process

Decision making is the process of making choices by identifying a decision, gathering information, and
assessing alternative resolutions. Using a step-by-step decision-making process can help you make more
deliberate, thoughtful decisions by organizing relevant information and defining alternatives. A decision-
making process is a series of steps taken by an individual to determine the best option or course of action to
meet their needs. The entire decision‐making process is dependent upon the right information being available to
the right people at the right times.

All leaders or managers want to make the best decisions. To do so he/she need to have the ideal
resources — information, time, personnel, equipment, and supplies — and identify any limiting factors, the
advantages and disadvantages. Time pressures frequently cause a manager/leader to move forward after
considering only the first or most obvious answers. However, decision making requires thorough examination
of the challenge, and a quick answer may not result in a permanent solution. A manager/leader should think
through and investigate several alternative solutions to a single problem before making a firmed decision. No
matter what technique is used, group decision making has clear advantages and disadvantages when compared
with individual decision making that is why manager/leaders always do interpersonal communication during the
decision‐making process. This technique is useful because it ensures that every group member has equal input
in the decision‐making process.
Every possible solutions are carefully studied by the experts and leaders/managers before implementing
because it might cause a total damage for everyone, just like our current situation , there are some people says
we have to make an academic freeze because not all students are capable of online learning and when it comes
to modular , students are actually not learning because it was not actually taught by the teacher but then it is in
our laws that academic freeze is impossible because there are too many options to have and continue education
even without going to school and that’s what we called the alternative . It invalidates the struggles of teachers
and school staff whose jobs are in jeopardy due to the pandemic. In the long run, an academic freeze might
even bring more harm than good. Students might abandon their studies entirely to help their families get back
on their feet after the pandemic. These are just an examples. But then the entire decision‐making process is
dependent upon the right information being available to the right people at the right times.

2. Policies on Admission
It is an act of admitting : the fact or state of being admitted: such as. a : the act of allowing something for
consideration before a court A small number of jurisdictions adhere to the position that a defendant may not
complain on appeal about the admission of illegally obtained evidence. The policy ensures proper admission
procedure with respect to each application received for admission. It also seeks to set selection criteria which is
transparent, fair and consistent. Admission policies govern which pupils can attend a particular school. ... Local
authority schools also have overt admission policies based on where pupils live (the school's "catchment area")
along with other criteria. Faith schools would include religious practice alongside the usual criteria.
Having an admission policies is a must for the school’s better decision making for a person who wants
to be admitted, it allows the school to assess whether the credentials are authentic or not. It’s for all to ensure
the authentication of every documents needed. This is to avoid fake personalities, avoid scammers and avoid
possible damage in the future.
