National Institute of Statistics of Rwanda (NISR) uses its website to disseminate data which is in public
domain as shown below.

By considering the discussed 4 Models of E-Governance which are:

1. The Broadcasting Model

2. The Critical Flow Mode

3. The E-Advocacy/Mobilization and Lobbying And

4. Interactive-Service Model

On National Institute of Statistics of Rwanda (NISR) website, I found all 3 models of e-governance which
NISR of Rwanda adopted to provide the information to the citizen of Rwanda, and those statistical data
are meaningful as derived by verified institution. Those models of e-governance are:

a) Broadcasting model
b) Critical flow model and,
c) Interactive model

1. NISR websites shows featured reports, featured surveys and news to the public and these are
concerned under broadcasting model of e-governance, as appear inn this screenshot.
2. NISR adopted also critical flow model of e-governance to deliver information to the public where
you can apply for a visa anywhere you are in the world by using NISR website as shown in the
below screenshot.

You will need to fill the form and attach some specific documents on the platform, they will
rechek the information you provided, ask you also to resend back in case there is an error
occurred while you are sending them at the first time. There is an intergration and cooperations
of different agencies to get VISA like NIDA for identity, embacy, etc. anywhere you are you can
get your VISA. This is critical flow model.

3. The last model of e-governance adopted by NISR to deriver statistical data to the citizen of
Rwanda is interactive model. This model allows public participation and creation of virtual
community where there is interaction of the public and the agency. On the NISR website, there
is contact us link for sending the feedback on services provided by the NISR, after informing the
public some various reports and surveys including birth rates, life expectancy, etc. People can
send their feedback; ideas, questions and even their fillings about the information provided by
NISR on its platform appear on NISR website. On website, there are also social media links for
sending the feedback like twitter. The following screenshot shows this model clearly.
