Lesson Outline Pre-lesson
“This” or “These”?
Aim: To review pervious’ lesson on “This” or “These”.
Materials: Previous’ lesson clothes flashcards
 Pupils are selected and asked to match the suitable
demonstrative pronouns with the relevant flashcards on
the whiteboard.

Lesson development
Do you like …? Yes, I do. / No, I don’t.
Aim: To present Do you like …?, Yes, I do. and No, I don’t..
Materials: Previous’ lesson clothes flashcards, speaker and
recording.
 Pupils are being demonstrated on how to use “Do you
like …?” by using the clothes flashcards.
 Pupils are asked to take out their textbook and turn to
page 83 for Activity 1.
 Pupils are asked to listen to a recording (CD3 track 4) in
correspond to the activity 1. This is to be done twice.
 Pupils are asked to match the statements with correct
picture in the activity verbally.

Listen and say.


Aim: To focus pupils on the correct grammatical form.
Materials: Speaker and recording.
 Pupils are asked to look at Activity 2 of page 83.
 Pupils are asked to listen to the recording.
 Pupils are asked to repeat after the recording.
 This is to be thrice.
 Pupils are asked a few questions regarding the
questions and statements to check on their
understanding of the grammar structure:
o How many hats?
o How many shoes?
o Do we use these or this?

Aim: To further practice pupils on the grammatical form.
Materials: Photocopies of superminds workbook 2 page 83.
 Pupils are being distributed of the photocopies.
 Pupils are asked to complete the activity in time
stipulated by the teacher.

Post-lesson
Write and answer.
Aim: To give further practice on Do you like …?, Yes, I do. and
No, I don’t..
Materials: Picture cards
 Pupils are asked to take out their exercise book.
 Pupils are asked to copy down the sample table on the
whiteboard into their exercise book.
 Pupils are being distributed of picture cards.
 Pupils are asked to paste the picture cards into the
sample table that they had copy in their exercise book.
 Pupils are asked to complete the table that they had
copy.

Sharing session
Aim: To reinforce pupils understanding of Do you like …?, Yes,
I do. and No, I don’t..
Materials: -
 Pupils are selected and asked to share what they had
written in their exercise book.
