Outline of teaching plan.

As I discussed with at our online meeting, these are the areas that need to be address:

Pronunciation

 Clearer vowel sounds e.g. clear delineation between short ‘i ‘ and ‘ee’ sounds
 Correction of problematic pronunciations
 Incorporation use of intonation and expression in voice.

Grammatical and lexical resources (level 7 criteria):

 more complex structures. E.g. complex sentences, past perfect continuous.


 Develop several more complex structures that can be applied to a variety of topics

Lexical resources (level 7 criteria):

 paraphrasing
 style
 more common and advanced collocations
 developing sentences which can be applied to a variety of topics.

Fluence and coherence (level 7 criteria):

 structuring an answer
 using organisers/ discourse markers e.g. as soon as, we had just begun,

General

 techniques for thinking and organising quickly


 eliminating Um and ah
 effective pausing
 body language
 voice projection

All the above applied to a range of topics.
