I. CONTENT OF THE PACK

● RTFX pack - The package is designed for After Effects CC2015.3 and newer versions.
● Gallery - preview of all animations in the pack.

● Pre-rendered animations - clips with alpha channel in a QuickTime(PNG)( Resolution:

1000x1000/1920x1080, FPS: 24-30). You can use them in all non-linear editing apps support
mattes and compositing like Premiere Pro, Sony Vegas, Final Cut, Edius etc.

● Sound FX - Mp3-files with sound FX. You can find them here: 1. RTFX pack\6. Sound FX

● Tutorials - video tutorials.

III. INSTALLATION: TEXT INSTRUCTION

1. Install ZXPInstaller depending on your OS :

2. Download the RTFX extension from

https://rtfxanimation.com/download/RTFX.zxp
Then drag RTFX.zxp to ZXPinstaller

Or hit File>Open and set the path to RTFX.zxp

3. If you plan to use Typography elements, install Fonts

4. After the extension installation, run After Effects . Go to Window > Extensions > RTFX
Pay attention, the extension needs Internet Connection for activation.

5.When the notification appears, click "ok", check your version of After Effects and follow
the tips

6. Tick the “Allow Scripts to Write Files and Access Network” option:
- For CC2018 and lower versions: Preferences > General >
 - For CC2019.1 and newer versions: Preferences > Scripting&Expressions >

Then click OK.

6. In the window that opens click “Install pack” (the button in the lower left corner of the
extension)

7. In opened window select ‘RTFX.pack’ from the ‘1. RTFX pack’ folder.

8. Go to https://videohive.net/downloads and download the ‘License certificate & purchase

code.txt’ file.
9. Copy the purchase code from ‘License certificate & purchase code.txt’ and enter it to the
Purchase Code field. Also enter your Videohive email.

UPDATE
1. Go to https://videohive.net/downloads and click ‘Download’ button in the ‘RTFX
Generator’ field and select ‘Main File(s)’

2. Download the RTFX extension from

https://rtfxanimation.com/download/RTFX.zxp

3. Run ZXPInstaller and drag RTFX.zxp to installer window

4. In After Effects, run the RTFX extension and click “Install pack” (the button in the
lower left corner of the extension)

5. In opened window select ‘RTFX.pack’ from ‘1. RTFX pack’ folder

VI. FAQ
1. I see arrows and circles instead of elements’ thumbnails.

In order to fix the issue, you need:

WINDOWS:
● Go to the unpacked archive “rtfx-generator-....” downloaded from Videohive
● Move the entire “1. RTFX pack” folder ( https://i.imgur.com/3kJ3nDr.jpg ) to the disk D:\
● Open After Effects(or Premiere Pro). Run the “RTFX” extension. Then click “Install pack” (
https://i.imgur.com/EDECcoX.jpg ) and set the new path in the extension (it will look like
“D:\1. RTFX pack [Mogrt]”). Click to see video tutorial

MAC OS:
● Go to the unpacked archive “rtfx-generator-....” downloaded from Videohive
● Move “1. RTFX pack” folder ( https://i.imgur.com/3kJ3nDr.jpg ) to “Documents”
● Open After Effects(or Premiere Pro). Run the “RTFX” extension. Then click “Install pack” (
https://i.imgur.com/EDECcoX.jpg ) and set the new path in the extension (like “Documents:\1.
RTFX pack [Mogrt]”). Pay attention that if you use Icloud, it might block the RTFX extension. You
need to move the pack folder out of the Icloud section.

2. The RTFX extension doesn’t show the pack content after updating After Effects
In order to fix the issue(for Windows):
● Press Window+E on your keyboard to open the Windows Explorer. Enter the following text to the
address line: %appdata%\RTFX Then push "Enter".
● Remove "list.rtfx", "pack_ae.rtfx", “packs_pp.rtfx”, and "user.rtfx" files
● Then install the RTFX extension again, set the pack path, and enter your purchase code.

3. I have installed the adobe ZXP installer and when I drag and drop the RTFX.ZXP file into
the box it does nothing.
● If you can’t use ZXP installer, your OS might blocks external apps, there is an option to install the
RTFX extension manually: Manual installation RTFX We will help you as soon as we can.
4. When I run the extension I see the message ‘Unable to connect to server. Check your
internet connection’
● Notice that the extension requires Internet connection during the activation process.
● Try to open this page: http://rtfxanimation.com/rtfx_preview/ If it doesn’t work, the security
system of your service network might block the extension. You need to add the IP 31.31.196.209
to Exception

5. When I run the extension I see the message ‘script alert Error: JSON.parse’
● Download the latest version of the pack from https://videohive.net/downloads and install the
RTFX extension V.3 (follow all steps of video tutorials in the new package)
● If the previous piece of advice doesn’t help, press Window+E on your keyboard to open the
Windows Explorer. Enter the following text to the address line: %appdata%\RTFX Then push
"Enter". Remove "list.rtfx", "pack_ae.rtfx", “packs_pp.rtfx”, and "user.rtfx" files. Then install the
RTFX extension again, set the pack path, and enter your purchase code.

6. The pack contains over 1000 elements... But why does the archive have a name
“Rtfx-generator-440-fx-pack”?

● It is given name for the first upload on Videohive.net and we can’t change it, unfortunately. But
don’t worry. We guarantee that the pack contains over 1000 elements.

6. How many workstations can I activate with one license?

● You can activate the extension on 3 workstations.

7. How to remove the old version of RTFX Generator.

- Windows:
In the explorer enter the text %appdata%\Adobe\CEP\extensions to the address line. Push
"Enter". Then remove the 'RTFXgen' folder. Go to AppData\Local\ and remove another 'RTFXgen'
folder
- MAC OS:
a) Press Command-Shift-G to open "Go to the folder" menu and enter the text:
~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CEP/extensions/ Click OK. Remove 'RTFXgen' folder
Then go to /Library/Application Support/ . Remove another 'RTFXgen' folder
