Maincon E-NET Option

Ethernet Cable Installation


To connect the Maincon ethernet port to the external ethernet jack, connect one end of the ethernet cable
(71-1092) to J6 on the Maincon PCB. Connect the other end of the cable to the inside port of the ethernet
passthrough jack in the electrical cabinet enclosure.

Once you have installed the E-net hardware. Turn ON Machine then Enable Parameter 737
NETWORKING BIT You will need a Magic code to turn this option on.
WINDOWS XP / VISTA/ 7 PROFESSIONAL
ENET SETUP
Haas XP/Vista / Win 7 Enet Set up

Right click on My Computer Icon


Left click on Properties

Vista / Windows 7

Type in YOUR computer name into Haas 907 Setting

Type in Your Domain or Workgroup Name into Haas 906 Setting

Windows XP :
Click on Computer Name Tab
Right click on Network Icon
Left click on Properties

For Vista / Win7 Click on Change adapter settings

Right Click on on Local Area Connection


Click on Properties
Click on Internet Protocol Version
(TCP/IP4)
Click on properties

Click on Use the following IP address

Type in the IP address shown on the


Picture

Type in the Subnet Mask shown on the


picture

Click OK
Go to the Haas Machine then type in the following values

TEST
OFF
192.168.1.20
255.255.255.0
** Leave Blank**
** Leave Blank**
Your Domain or Workgroup Name

Move cursor to task bar & right click


Click on Properties

Click on the Start Menu Tab


Click on Customize button

Curson down through the drop down


Click & check Run Command

Click OK

Click the Start button

Click on the Run button

Type in: SECPOL.MSC

Click OK

Click on Local Policies

Click on Secuirity Options

Drop down & double click on NETWORK SECUIRITY:

Use NTLMV2 SESSION SECURITY IF

Click ok

Double Click on My Computer


Click on Tools

Click on Folder options

Click on the View Tab

Scroll all the way down

Uncheck Use Sharing


Wizard (Recommended)

XP: Use Simple File


Sharing (Recommended)
Left click on My Computer Icon
Click on Manage
Click on Users Folder

Click on Action

Click on New User

Type In : CNC

Password Type in: 12345


Confirm Password : 12345

Check Password Never Expires

Click Create
Click on Groups Folder

Double Click on Adminstrators

Click on ADD button


Type in CNC Click on Check Names

Click ok
Double Click on the C Drive

Click on File

Click on New Folder

Name the Folder HAASPGM

Right click on the folder


Click on share with Advance
Sharing

Windows XP Users
Click on Sharing and Security
Click on Advanced Sharing…

Vista & Win 7 XP

Click on Share this folder

Click on Permisions
Click on Everyone

Check Allow on everything

Click OK all the way out

Go to Haas Machine and fill out the following settings:

Your Computer Name


HAASPGM
CNC
12345
FULL

Cycle power on the machine


Mapping Hard drive from Remote PC

Maincon Machine: You must have purchase the Extended Memory option to do this.

Verify that Hard Drive is Enable parameter 737

Click on Start
Click on Run
Type in \\Machine name Set 900 \ Data

Click Ok

You can also use IP address

Type in \\Machine IP address Set 902 \ Data

Click Ok

You will then see


the contents of
the Hard Drive
Finding the Mac address

Press PARAM/DGNOS button twice


Page UP a few times to get to the Configurations Page
