MIDTERM JOURNAL ENTRY #6: Letter to my 14-year-old self.

To: My 14 Year Old Self

For the past 5 years, I say that a lot have been changed in your life. I know that you are still finding
yourself but trust me you are going to achieved more. There are things that I thought will help you know
yourself more especially about your physical, sexual, and material self.

You may sometimes hate yourself on your appearance and your physical self. But one thing I learned is
to love and to accept yourself which this help me boost my self-esteem more. I also learned that we are
made for who we are and not become someone’s prop.

You may still learning about more on sex education where you applied this to who you are today. You
are lucky that you did not experience such early pregnancy which is the problem of today. Stay the same
and give more importance in learning sex education. Another advice is that learn to accept the LGBTQI
community where you will know that they are also human who need acceptance.

You give importance to your wants and needs which is part on who you are. You always save up to buy
what your needs is but one thing I observed, I sometimes spend things which later, I regret spending on.
As an advice, learn how to spend your money wise and value the things you have. Because a part of
growing up is the maturity on valuing money. I also learned that money can change people. Hopefully
that you will change into this.

These advises and insights will be able to help you find your physical, sexual, and material self. See you
after 5 years, 14-year-old self.
