ADVERSE HUMAN HEALTH EFFECTS: Does not cause acute irritation or toxic effects.
ENVIRONMENTAL EFFECTS: The product is not classified as dangerous to the environment according to the Directive
67/548/EC and to its following amendments.
The user is advised to use anyway good work practice and to avoid contamination of the
environment.

4 - FIRST-AID MEASURES
INGESTION: The product has a low level of oral toxicity. If accidentally ingested, do not induce vomiting. Consult
a physician.
INHALATION: The product is not volatile. If under particular conditions, such as in the case of fire, fumes or
aerosols are inhaled, remove the patient to a well ventilated location and call a physician.
EYE CONTACT: Flush eyes immediately with plenty of water.
SKIN CONTACT: The product is not irritant for the skin, wash with water.
NOTES TO A PHYSICIAN: The product is a moderately foaming nonionic surfactant. If gastric lavage is necessary, use a
silicone antifoam (dimethicone).

GENERAL INFORMATION: The product is combustible at temperatures above ignition point.

6 - ACCIDENTAL SPILL MEASURES


PERSONAL PRECAUTIONS: Avoid direct contact with the product.
Wear adequate protective clothing.
Avoid the sources of ignition, do not smoke.
ENVIRONMENTAL PRECAUTIONS: Collect the spilled materials in suitable containers either in order to reuse or to dispose of them.
Dispose of material according to the requirements of local laws.
METHODS FOR CLEANING UP: Wash the contaminated area with plenty of water.
If excessive foam is produced, use a silicone based antifoam to bring it down.

7 - HANDLING AND STORAGE


HANDLING: Avoid contact with the product.
If handled in molten liquid form or in solution form, avoid accidental formation of aerosol.
STORAGE: Compatible materials: stainless steel, mild steel, aluminium (at T<50 °C) and polyethylene.
Store in a cool location in sacks or containers made of plastic materials impermeable to
atmospheric humidity.
