Notice of end of product service (EOS) informing customers that repair services for existing DV-l Prime,
DV-ll Pro and DV-lll Ultra viscometers will no longer be offered after May 31, 2020.

Customer Impact:
Customers may still send in products for repair services before May 31, 2020 – after this date customers
will no longer to obtain repair services for this product. Please note that AMETEK Brookfield will
continue to offer calibration for these products.

Below is a list of terms and definitions related to end of life stages. Notifications will be issued for any
instrument entering either EOM, EOS, or EOL.

New versions of the instrument will no longer be manufactured or sold,

Our goal is to support all discontinued instrument model families for a minimum period of 5 years from
the end of manufacturing (EOM) to the end of life (EOL). In the case of currently produced legacy model
families, instruments that are more than 10, but less than 15 years old have varying levels of end of
service (EOS) for the purposes of repair or calibration. This is because instruments of this age tend to be
materially different than their recently produced counterparts and repair or calibration services is
