Subject: Prevention of Corona Virus Disease (COVID‐19) for Workers, Work Partners and Family
Pay attention to:
1. The Government's statement by the President on March 15, 2020 that the current conditions related
to COVID‐19 infection have been declared a global pandemic and need to take extra steps in dealing with
them.
2. That Pertamina is concerned to manage the lowest possible risk associated with the potential spread
of COVID‐19 infections in all lines of the Company's operational activities and to ensure that business
processes are running well in order to secure the availability of national energy,
hereby submit the following matters:
1. To VP level officials and above at the Head Office and Subsidiaries and other affiliated Companies
/ Operations Unit Management Team / Operation Head and officials who get official vehicle
facilities to continue working in the office as usual, with due regard to the vigilance of COVID‐19
on site work that has been arranged by the company.
2. The company applies Work From Home mechanism or works from the residence of each worker
in the entire Pertamina Group for Workers other than item 1 including workers who are pregnant
or breastfeeding, and in special health recovery status who are vulnerable to decreased immunity,
and or older than 50 years.
3. Work From Home is intended so that workers carry out work that is their responsibility for the
smooth operation and service to the community and other stakeholders.
4. For workers with certain types of jobs (including: operator, load master, doctor / medical officer,
etc.) that cannot be abandoned operationally and cannot be Worked Home, the work pattern is
regulated by a supervisor at the level of the equivalent VP at the Head Office / Subsidiaries and
other affiliated companies / GM Operations Unit. Mobilization from residence to work and vice
versa will be facilitated by the Company.
5. This Work From Home is valid for 14 calendar days, starting from March 16, 2020 or until further
announcement.
6. All employees who carry out Work From Home during office hours or outside office hours are not
permitted to:
a. leave the house, except for urgent needs and report it to the direct supervisor,
b. not visiting crowded places including malls or other places that are not urgent to be visited.
7. All functions are requested to optimize the use of Video Conference / tele‐Conference for
conducting meetings, especially between separate work locations. In the event that cannot be
avoided, a meeting shall be held with the following provisions:
a. Maximum meeting duration is 1 hour.
b. Attended by a maximum of 10 (ten) participants, with due regard to the freedom of safe
distance between meeting participants (1.5 meters).
c. The attendance list comes with contact numbers and domicile data to facilitate close contact
tracing.
8. All functions are requested not to carry out activities in the form of workshops, seminars, FGDs,
consignments and other activities involving more than 10 (ten) people and or from different work
locations.
9. To each of the Directors, Directors of Subsidiaries and other affiliated companies to ensure that
the implementation of the tasks continues well.
10. The enactment of restrictions on foreign travel both official and personal interests and restrictions
on official travel in the country for Workers, Work Partners and Families.
11. The function of the CICT is to take strategic steps to ensure the reliability of information systems
and applications to support the work of Workers who work under Work From Home.
12. The Asset Function is requested to carry out the distribution of work schedules for Workers in
charge of managing the building and related services so that office operations can continue to run
well.
13. In addition to the aforementioned arrangements, the Director of SOM coordinates with the
Technical Director to carry out the scenario of regulating workers to remain in the work site for a
certain period of time (lockdown isolation), as well as other scenarios in accordance with certain
operating conditions.
This was conveyed to be implemented and delivered to all workers in their respective work environments.
