    The MDS aspirants who were admitted to Oxford Dental College through the Karnataka Examination Authority 2021 counseling process have submitted a complaint letter to the President of the Karnataka State Dental Council. They state that in addition to the fees prescribed by KEA, the college demanded Rs. 1,25,000 during admission which included Rs. 75,000 for materials and Rs. 50,000 for clinical labs, but did not provide receipts. However, the chairman of the KEA admission oversight committee mentioned the maximum fee chargeable for materials and skilled labs is only Rs. 45,000. They request the president to resolve the issue and take strict action against the college for overcharging fees.

    Council) Bangalore.Respected Sir,
    Subject: Complaint regarding additional fee Rs.1,25,000/- taken by
    the OxfordDental college.
    We,the NEET MDS-2021 Aspirants,who took admission in Oxford Dental college
    through KEA-2021 Counseling are writing this letter about additional fee taken by the
    college authority.we have already paid the KEA(Karnataka Examination Authority)
    prescribed fee for the government/private quota seat.In addition to this ,during the
    time of College admission procedure in Person we were asked to remit a fee of Rs.
    1,25,000
    /-(Material Fee- Rs. 75,000/- and Clinical Lab fee- Rs 50,000/-) and the college
    authority did not even provide the official fee receipt for the same.

    Since we got aware about the fact that the Justice B Manohar, Chairman, overseeing
    admission Committee, Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has mentioned that
    the ‘Material Fee’ including 'Skilled Laboratory fees' chargeable by Dental Colleges is
    onlyRs. 45,000/- (Rupees forty five thousand only).
    We therefore kindly request you to please resolve our issue and also there should be
    strict action to be taken for rule violation of charging us extra fee by the college
    authority.We Expect a resolution from you for the present situation as soon as possible.
