Diego: NFL Games

Your English course in the United States will not be complete if you do
not visit one of the great stadiums in the USA to watch an NFL game.
So-called American Football is the king of sports (followed closely by
Baseball) in North America and watching one of the great games live
promises to be one of the greatest sporting experiences to be enjoyed
in this country.

The Superbowl is one of the most anticipated events each year by all
Americans, (it even exceeds sports expectations, becoming a
multidisciplinary show) and American football in general is lived with a
special passion since it is a sport totally rooted in culture. American.
During your English course in the United States, you can familiarize
yourself with this sport and learn a little about the history of one of the
most exciting leagues in the world, the National Footbal League.
A session in the car cinema
The drive-in or in Spanish "drive-in" was one of the most popular forms
of movie consumption in the United States, especially in the 1950s,
when it reached its maximum expression. Films like Grease, series like
The Simpsons or even video clips like the famous Breakout by Foo
Fighters have represented drive-ins on the screen from the most
classic perspective to the present day.

The drive-in business has been declining brutally to this day. In the
'80s the number of drive-ins still had a good volume but it was
decreasing until there were only a few hundred distributed throughout
the North American territory. However, in recent times, thanks to the
revaluation of vintage culture, these cinemas are enjoying renewed
popularity (albeit out of sheer nostalgia) and there has been a large
increase in audience.

In addition, these drive-ins have been reinforced by powerful sound

systems and modern projectors that have optimized the experience
very well compared to today, talking about all the charm of the past
and being able to connect with a new generation. If your English
course in the United States allows it, don't miss the opportunity to visit
a drive-in cinema, as it is one of the most purely American experiences
that you will be able to treasure when you return to Spain.
See an active volcano in Hawaii
Hawaii was the last state to become part of the United States of America.
Since 1959 it has the honor of being the 50th state and claims to be one
of the most touristic places in the entire country, due to its paradisiacal
environment and the fame of the archipelago known as Polynesia. In it
you can find some of the best beaches in the United States.

Although Hawaii offers a wide range of activities and excursions, we are

going to opt for the most exclusive, since in few places in the world can
you enjoy the beauty of an erupting volcano first-hand. Although there
are 5 different volcanoes on the island, it is the so-called Kilaeua that
has the honor of expelling lava in an interrupted way since 1983. Its
activity is not very violent so you can approach a privileged distance to
contemplate a spectacle of fire and magma truly unique, making this
activity one of the most exclusive to enjoy throughout the country. You
can combine your English course in the United States with a visit to this
fantastic island and you will not be disappointed at any time, seeing how
the lava penetrates the water of the Pacific Ocean is an exercise in
natural beauty.
Practice gravity-free flights
This option is exclusive for the most fortunate, since it represents a real
fortune (we are talking about € 3,700 per person). The United States
offers so-called gravity-free flights, where you can get as close as
possible to the sensation professional astronauts experience when they
go into space in their space shuttles.

These so-called parabolic flights take place inside a modified Boeing 727
airplane with a padded interior in
which the passenger begins to feel
the absence of gravity. Even a retired
NASA astronaut does pre-flight
training to ensure passenger comfort.

These little adventures have taken

place in places like Cape Canaveral,
Seattle, San José or Las Vegas and
they are spreading more and more
throughout the United States, so if
you find yourself taking an English course in the United States and you
have the privilege If you can hire this service, don't hesitate to make your
“space” dreams come true and jump into the experience of flight without
gravity!

TADEO: My work consists of the state, Idaho of the United States

The reason why I chose it is because it makes me a very interesting

state, apart from that it is an ecological state, full of many zoos and
exotic places to visit.

What is idaho?

Idaho is a northwestern US state known for its mountainous

landscapes and vast expanses of protected nature and outdoor
recreation areas. The capital, Boise, lies at the foot of the Rocky
Mountains and crosses the Boise River, popular for rafting and
fishing. Julia Davis Park is a green area on the waterfront of the city
center with a rose garden, museums and a zoo.

places to visit?

With the advantages of a city and the atmosphere of a peaceful

town, this is the perfect base for exploring the Yellowstone and
Grand Teton National Parks.

Nestled in the colorful Rocky Mountains, Idaho Falls is the perfect

place from which to venture into the rugged mountains of Grand
Teton and Yellowstone National Parks.

Named after the falls of the Snake River, Idaho Falls is surrounded
by rolling plains, rugged mountains, and the meandering river. In it
you will find many outdoor activities. Go hiking, fishing, hunting or
camping in the national parks. Go boating on the Ririe or Palisades
reservoirs. Hang gliding, skydive or soar in a hot air balloon from
King Mountain, or kayak up the Snake River. On the Snake River
BMX track you can watch a race, or bring a motorcycle if you want
to participate. You can take your family to the Tautphaus Park
Funland amusement park. During winter you can skate on the ice
rink at Tautphaus Park, or you can go snowmobiling up to the
Caribou Mountains.

After all these outdoor adventures you can relax back in the town
of Idaho Falls. Take a boat tour on the Snake River, hike the green
belt trails, or relax in one of the many parks. Play a game of golf on
a championship course or enjoy watching the animals at the
Tautphaus Park Zoo.
This beautiful town is also rich in history. Discover the roots of the
city on a walking tour of the historic buildings or with a visit to the
Idaho Museum. See local arts and crafts at the Willard Art Center,
and in the afternoon you can catch a performance at the Colonial
Theater or a symphony concert at the Civic Auditorium. Thanks to
the fact that there are festivals and events throughout the year, you
can always enjoy a concert, a play or a cultural event.

Located in Bonneville County, Idaho, the town of Idaho Falls is a

two-hour drive from the Grand Targhee and Sun Valley ski resorts.
Although you can get around the city on foot, local public transport
is limited. We recommend you rent a car so you can enjoy the city
and its surroundings.

festivities that you can do?

For a Southern Independence Day, head to the historic port city of

New Orleans, Louisiana, to see red, white and blue fireworks
explode, fired from barges on the Mississippi River. Find a spot on
the waterfront grass at Woldenberg Park or while strolling through
the nearby French Quarter, where you'll find live music, street
performers and a thriving nightlife scene. If you want to see the
fireworks up close, reserve a seat on the deck of the Creole Queen,
a steam wheel where you can listen to jazz bands and enjoy a buffet
dinner.

Boston Harborfest: Boston, Massachusetts

As one of America's oldest cities (and a pivotal place during the

Revolutionary War), Boston, Massachusetts doesn't celebrate the
4th of July for just one day. For nearly a week, Boston Harborfest
honors the city's colonial roots and its role during the revolution
with re-enactments, walking tours, and educational programs. But
no Independence Day celebration would be complete without
nightly festivities. Enjoy a free concert on the banks of the Charles
River by the Boston Symphony Orchestra, followed by a half-hour
performance of fireworks.

Lights on the Lake Fireworks Show: South Lake Tahoe, California

Located on Lake Tahoe and sheltered by the Sierra Nevada

Mountains, South Lake Tahoe, California draws crowds for its
winter sports. But summer also has a lot to offer in this idyllic resort
town, located 302 kilometers east of San Francisco, especially
when it hosts a monumental fireworks display on July 4th. Pack a
picnic and watch fireworks at night from any of the city's beaches,
like Timber Cove Marina, for example. Get there early to find a spot
before the crowds arrive, or purchase a ticket for the Tahoe Queen
wheel steamer and enjoy the view from the water.

CHOOSE THAT COUNTRY: Why it is a very

striking country and that in the United
States the citizens do not elect the pre-
president, it is not the citizens who elect the
president: what the Americans will
effectively elect on November 3 is the
person who will vote on their behalf to the
tenant of the White House, by virtue of a system devised by the
founding fathers of the country and enshrined in the Constitution.

The most widely spoken language in the United States: Although

English is the most widely spoken language in the United States,
this country does not have an official language. Neither the
Constitution nor other federal laws establish anything in this
regard, so each state can regulate it on its own.
