Class Assignment-1

N&N is a multinational chain of stores who sells different types of electronic products. N&N is facing
problem in its corporate wide analysis. You have been assigned this task as an analyst to propose an
OLAP solution.
N&N wants to analyze its sales department’s performance. The organization has many branches and
the organization has divided locations of the branches according to regions. There are many branches
in a region where as one branch belongs to only specific region. For region, the organization keeps its
region as identifier whereas for branch, the organization wants to perform its analysis on Branch_ID,
Sales_Leader, Branch_Address, Branch_PLZ, Branch_Place, Region, and Country. For products, the
organization needs Product_ID, Product_Catagory, Manufacturer, Product_Unit, and
Cost_per_Unit_EUR. The organization also wants to analyze its sales on the basis of different kinds of
promotions. For promotions, the organization needs Campaign_ID,Media_Type, and Responsible. For
sales, the organization needs to analyze Actual_Qty,Pro_Unit, Planned_Qty, Price_Per_Unit, and
Sales_Currency in which sale was carried out on the basis of branch, Product, Promotion, and region.
The organization want this analysis on daily, monthly, and quarterly level
