OVERALL VIDEO IF RESPONSE CHECK
Connect the potentiom eter a rm of the 15 volt bias supply to the ungrounded side of C55. Connect the positive side to ch assis. Adjust fo r -9 volts at C55.
Couple the m arker g enerato r loosely to the grid of the f ir s t video IF am plifier tube (V4).
Connect the synchronized sweep voltage from the sweep gen erato r to the horizontal input of the oscilloscope fo r horizontal deflection.

KRK12C VHF TUNER ALIGNMENT
In step 20 choose the prop er pad ( see Fig. 11) to match the output impedance of the sweep gen erato r to be used. If the sweep gen erato r does not have
built in m ark ers couple a VHF signal g enerator loosely to antenna term in als to provide m ark ers.
Connect the negative lead of the 7. 5 volt bias supply to the tuner AGC term inal. Connect the positive side to ch assis. A djust the potentiom eter a rm fo r
- 2 volts at tuner AGC term inal.
To m inim ize R F -IF interaction rem ove the RF o sc illa to r tube (V2/6AF4) fro m its socket.
T uner alignm ent as outlined below req u ires the use of a heterodyne frequency m eter.
Connect the synchronized sweep voltage from the sweep g en erato r to the horizontal input of the oscilloscope fo r horizontal deflection.
The sweep generator output lead should be term inated with its c h a ra c te ristic impedance, usually 50 ohms.
