Unity Dance IRR

1. A RSO must have a minimum of twenty (20) and maximum of fifty (50)
participants with no restriction as to gender.
2. The president and adviser(s) of the different RSO must have 1 minute to
2 minutes exposure on the routine. An additional 2 points shall be awarded
to the RSO if the president has a meaningful part and 2 points if advisers
are present. Also 5 points deduction will be recognized if they fail to have a
part.
3. Genre of dance is an upbeat song with a touch of the zodiac sign they
have picked through draw lots. The routine should embody the zodiac sign
they have picked.
4. The routine's length for each group is limited to five (5) minutes. A grace
period of five (5) seconds plus or minus is allowed.
5. Groups whose performance exceed the period of five minutes and five
seconds (5:05) shall be given a one (1) point deduction for every ten (10)
seconds in excess of the maximum time.
6. University of Pangasinan Dance Company (UPDC) is allowed to
participate or contribute choreography as long as they are CMA students.
7. Criteria of Judging Choreography- 40% Music and Synchronization-
30% Creativity- 30%
8. Pointing system 1st Placer- 150 2nd Placer- 130 3rd Placer- 120 4th
Placer- 115
CMA Quest
1. The QUEST is open to all-male, all-female or mixed parties CMA
students
2. Each RSO must provide 3 participants to be registered as an
adventurers to represent their respective RSOs.
3. All participants must COMPLETE the quest (1st to 4th) to validate their
points/scores
4. The accumulated points of the participants will be the point for their
RSOs.
5. The QUEST will be conducted through Facebook and other online
platforms. Adventurer
Requirements:
1. Adventurers must be enrolled in PHINMA University of Pangasinan this
school year 2020-2021 and must be a CMA student.
2. There should be 3 adventurers per RSO.
Disqualification:
1. All adventurers must show sportsmanship to their rival adventurers.
2. The QUEST masters have the right to impose penalties, disqualify and
dismiss registered adventurers from the quest, at their discretions, at any
stage of the quest.
3. Cheating such as asking help from other people and violation of the
requirements/rules are strictly prohibited. Automatic dismissal or
disqualification will be imposed if proven guilty.
Score system: 1st place: 100 points 2nd place: 75 points 3rd place: 50
points 4th place: 25 points
QUIZ BEE
1. 15 player per RSO.
2. Participants can be a male or female, provided that they are a
CMA student.
3. All Participants must register and provide their username on
(joinmyquiz.com.)
4. Quiz Code will be provided on CMA Facebook Page.
5. On the Leaderboard of our CMA page Live stream, participants
must comment their Quiz username using their original facebook
account to qualify as an official quizzer.
6. The quiz is composed of CMA related and General Knowledge
questions.
7. All quizzers must answer all the questions correctly to earn a
high score.
8. Winners will be determined based on the Total Score earned
after the quiz.
Score system:
1st place: 100 points 2nd place: 75 points 3rd place: 50 points
4th place: 25 points
LIPSYNC BATTLE 2
IRR 1 Create a video of yourself letting loose and enjoying the music
of your favorite artists and songs. Materials that will be used must be
submitted to the Committee Head for Lip Sync Battle on or before October
27, 2020.
IRR 2 This is a home-based activity.
IRR 3 Each RSO may only submit one (1) video entry
IRR 4 The contestants are required to prepare a minimum of two (2)
minutes to a maximum of three (3) minute video performance.
IRR 5 The Entry must have one (1) main performer. The Contestants
may have one (1) to three (3) backup performers to accompany them on
their performance, social distancing rules applied.
In cases back-up dancers will be participating in the video,
editing of videos will be allowed.
IRR 6 Be creative with your costumes, choreography, editing and
props, except for sharp & pointy objects, pyrotechnics, live animals, or
other equipment which may cause damage or harm. The harmful items
stated above are strictly prohibited. Remember that you are being scored
on creativity and appearance, as well as your ability to lip sync.
IRR 7 The participants have the discretion to choose their own song
whether it is Local or Foreign.
IRR 8 Participants must indicate Artist and Title of the song with 40
to 100 words description about your entry video. This will be serve as the
caption of your entry.
JINGLE WRITING CONTEST
IRR 1 The Contest is open to all aspiring singer and songwriter .
IRR 2 Each RSO may only submit one (1) video entry only.
IRR 3 Each entry may be composed and created by one (1)
contestant a collaboration of up to three (3) singer and musician who shall
be collectively treated as one (1) contestant, social distancing rules applied.
IRR 4 Each entry must be an original work of the Contestant
(lyrics/message, musical arrangement) and all rights, Including
copyright, to the entry must be owned exclusively by the
Contestant..
IRR 5 You can choose of appropriate genre such as Pop, Jazz,
Ballad, Classical, Soul, Blues, R&B, Gospel, Rap., except Metallic, Rock,
Hip Hop .
The following are not eligible as entries:
Those which have been used as entries in other competitions
Those which have been previously published, recorded, or released in any
part of the world
Must not have been used in any previous competitions or commercially
released (i.e., recorded and commercially distributed, sold to the public or
uploaded in any online/social media platforms).
IRR 6 The theme of the jingle are “One Executives, One CMA”
Rules and Regulations for CMA ICONS

1.) Icons must be male and female as agreed by CMASC and RSOs.

2.) Each icon must embody the zodiac that his/her respective RSO has
been assigned to by showcasing himself in a costume and attitude that is
inclined with the features of his/her RSO.

3) The price of the materials used to create costume of each icon must not
exceed to five hundred( Php 500.00). The use of recycled materials is
permitted.

4) All receipts from purchasing of materials for the costume must be


surrendered to the treasurer and auditor of CMASC.

5) Each Icon will be Showcasing the following

-Photo showcasing his/her RSO Shirt. (To be shown on the Opening


Program)
-Creative Photo with Sports as a theme. (Day 2, subject for online votes)
-Photo wearing his/her creative costume. (Day 4, subject for online votes.
-CMA Icon Video
The RSO Entries will be given 2-4 minutes to introduce themselves and to
projet their creative costume . Video Editing will be allowed. (To be shown
on our CMA Night, but will be pre-judged).

6) Costumes can be transformed or improved provided that they will not


exceed to the required amount.
7) Icons must be photographed by their respective RSOs. Image
enhancement is allowed. Layouts has a dimension of 6 feet in height and 4
feet in width.

The showcasing of icons will be done on an online platform.

CMA Zodiacs Quest IRR

1. The CMA Zodiacs Quest is composed of 3 games, specifically


1 game per day.
2. Participants must be represented by the different RSO from
year levels
3. Each quest will be announce every 6:00 oclock in the
morning along with the mechanics of each game.
4. Passing of the list of works/outputs of the participants (if the
game requires) in our email cmasc2021@gmail.com deadline is
3:00 oclock in the afternoon and 4:00 oclock in the afternoon is
the posting or the game proper, on that day.
5. Pointing system will be 100, 75, 50, 25 respectively.
6. Late submission will have a deduction of 1 point per minute.
And failure to attend or join the medium of the event after
10mins., will result to automatic disqualification.

My Version
1. The participant should be enrolled and a CMA Student at present
Academic Year 2020-2021.
2. The participant can be a male or a female.
3. Each RSO should have one participant only.
4. The video can be edited or not.
5. The video should be taken inside the house or outside but observe
health protocols.
6. The final Video entry should be 2 minutes only. 1 minute for the
original videoclip and 1 minute for the participant’s version.
7. The videoclip can be international or local film without nudity and
vulgar scenes.
8. Criteria for Judging:

Spoken Word Poetry Contest

IRR 1. Spoken poetry is a performance art that is word based. It is


a writing that meant to be spoken or delivered with emotions. It is
an oral art that focuses on the aesthetics of world play, rhythm,
and provisions, rhyme, intonation and voice inflection.
IRR 2 There will be one representative per RSO and the
representative can only send one entry .
IRR 3 The spoken poetry must be an original composition. It could
be written in English, Filipino or in both Language. 
IRR 4 A copy of the spoken word poetry must be submitted to the
CMASC upon sending the entry in mp4 format.
IRR 5 The piece must be related to the theme “New Normal,
Breaking Barriers Towards Excellence”.
IRR 6 Each contestants is given a maximum of 3-5 minutes to
recite or deliver his/her piece. No deduction shall be made if the
contestants finishes the delivery in less than the maximum time
frame.
IRR 7 The spoken poetry must delivered from memory and any
movement is confined on stage.
IRR 8 Attire appropriate for the spoken piece shall be worn during
the contest.
IRR 9 Sounds, instrumental or musical background are allowed to
compliment the delivery. No deduction shall be made if the
contestant opts not to have a musical background.
IRR 10 Entries (video and content) must be submitted to
cmasc2021@gmail.com on or before October 27, 2020. Include
the name and the RSO of the participant in the email.
