SEMI – DETAILED LESSON PLAN IN ENTREPRENEURSHIP
Grade 12 – Nikola Tesla (EIM)
March 25, 2021
I. OBJECTIVES
At the end of the lesson, 85-90% of the students will be able to:
 Describe the Marketing Mix (7Ps) in relation to the business opportunity vis-à-vis, :
CS_EP11/12ENTREP-0h-j-10:
- Describe the concept of marketing Mix
- Identify the seven P’s in the marketing mix
A. Content
The learner is able to determine the products and services available in the market
B. Content Standard
The learner demonstrates understanding of:
o environment and market in one’s locality/town.
C. Performance Standard
The learner is able to independently creates a business vicinity map reflective of potential market in
one’s locality/town.
D. Learning Competency
Recognize and understand the market – the learners describe the Marketing Mix (7Ps) in
relation to the business opportunity vis-à-vis: product, price, place, promotion, people,
packaging, and positioning.

II. SUBJECT MATTER


Topic: The Marketing Mix (7Ps) in Relation to the Business Opportunity
Materials: Worksheets/Activity Sheets/Cartolina, marking pen, writing materials (if needed);
laptop and LCD projector

III. PROCEDURE/LEARNING ACTIVITY
A. Preliminary Activity (5 minutes)
- For three minutes, the class begins with a prayer, to be followed by the checking of
attendance, the proper arrangement of the chairs
- Review on recognizing and understanding the market. Teacher will use the questions below
to guide them in recalling the concepts (time allotted is 5 minutes):
1. What/Who is the target market?
2. What are the two types of customer requirements? And describe their differences.
3. What is a market size?

B. Motivation (3 minutes)
A short game will be done. A crossword puzzle will be visualized on the projector and the learners will
identify the words they can find on the said puzzle. This is to be done individually good for 3 minutes only.
C. Analysis (10 minutes)
1. The teacher presents the objectives by reading it from the items flashed on screen.
2. The teacher will introduce the concepts of marketing mix prompting a whole class discussion and
identify the 7Ps.
o Learners are asked to choose their favorite product and will identify its marketing mix
(7Ps).
3. Using the learners’ cellphone/laptop, they will be given codes to enter menti.com and will be asked
to answer questions as their appetizer while the discussion proper is in-progress or
4. Selected learners will share their responses to the class.
- Who has similar responses?
5. The teacher then provides a proper ending by emphasizing that despite being stocked in this
pandemic situation, it will not be a hindrance to their entrepreneurial mindset and their chance to
start their own business is not yet too late.

Activity: The learners match the pictures to the meta cards presented on the board.

D. Abstraction (5 minutes)
1. What is the lesson you get out from the lesson?
2. How can this be applied to your learning experiences later?

E. Application (5 minutes)
The learners will be asked of the marketing mix of their favorite product.
 Guide questions are as follows:
 What is the product? (Product)
 Where can you find the product? (Place)
 How did you know about the product? (Promotion)
 How much is the product? (Price)

IV. EVALUATION (2 minutes)


Teacher will highlight key elements of the lesson. Students will then be asked to reflect on the
following:
3 Things I learned today
2 Things I found interesting
1 Question I still have

V. HOMEWORK/ASSIGNMENT
At the conclusion on the lesson, students will independently complete a reflective assessment.
The student will choose a company and identify the four Ps of the marketing mix discussed.
