Science & Technology Month Celebration

Science is truly extremely felt in November as the we celebrated the Science and
Technology Month pursuant to the Proclamation No. 780 s. 2019 on the conduct of the Science
and technology (S&T) Week Celebration. The Science Department through the endeavor of the
TBSC (Technology Builders Science Club), the activities aim to promote the inquisitiveness, to
encourage, motivate and equip the students in applications of science and its interface with the
society amidst pandemics. The Science Month Celebration is indeed a successful event in which
the students actively participated the different science activities. This was made possible with the
enthusiasm and resurgence of the Science Teachers and the Science Department Head VI, Mr.
Mabini in transcending the success of the 2021 National Science Club Month Celebration with
the theme “RIPTIDE: Science Clubbing Steadfast Against Raging Currents”.

The following students reaped the laurels where the finalist was chosen in each event and
became an entry for the Division wide Science and technology Week Celebration. The winners
for Slogan Making Contest were lady Ann Merena from SPFL 10-Mexico, receives the third
place; Jilian Lauvh Cerico a student from STE 10-Faraday, bagged the 2nd place; and Justine
Aquino of SPA 10-Alice Reyes scooped the first place.

Chanishka Lauren Mercurio, STE 10-Einstein; Keisha Nicole Inis, STE 10-Newton; and
Dashyne Mercado won the third, second and first place respectively for poster making contest.

For the essay writing, Estephen James Santolan of STE 10-Newton won the 3rd Place,
Angel Keena Dela Cruz of STE 9-Boyle won the 2nd Place, and Kimberly Mariel Hallare of STE
9-Avogadro awarded the 1st Place.

For Infographics Event, Jozer Barrum of STE 7-Copernicus grabbed the 3rd place, Myle
M. Lavina of STE 9-Charles received the 2nd place and Chezca Mae Palisoc of SPA 10-Alice
Reyes struck the judges and won the first place.

The SPA 10-Alice Reyes swift(collated)ano mas acceptable Camille? the winners for the
Pic Collage Event. Erica Villanueva took the third place, Robert Dae Samson prevailed for the
second place, and Pauline Canlas conquered the first place.

For the Spoken Poetry Event, Julius Deacon Gabriel of STE 8-Lamarc granted the third
place, while Elaika Apostol of STE 9-Charles earned the second place, and Ylaiza First P.
Velasquez SPFL 8-Venezuela astounded the hearts of the judges and triumphed the first place.

The most awaited Sci Awit Event were again dominated by the SPA students. The group
of Jody Palma and Nicole Oribella both from SPA 10-Alice Reyes reaped the third and second
place respectively while Alexca Jhayne Andaya’s group succeeded for the first place.

For the Science Video Production Event, Christian Faraon of STE 8-Darwin took the tird
place, Charles Burns STE 8-Darwin rallied the second place, and Elaika Apostol of STE 9-
Charles attained the first place.
Congratulations to all the students who participated and share their knowledge and ideas
in science against the ranging current!
