The rate of change of velocity with respect to time is known as acceleration. The final
effect of all the forces applied to a body is its acceleration.
The objective is to determine the area under the object’s velocity-time curve between the
times.
The distance the object has travelled is equal to the area under the velocity-time curve.
Hence, the area under this object's velocity-time curve equals the it travels.
