Dr George
Loukas
Before I begin the main topic of my presentation, I
would like to talk to you about the development of my
thought from the early years of my studies in
homeopathy.
I was initially trained in classical homeopathy. Since
the early years of study I was able to recognise the
importance of the in depth understanding of the
particular properties of each remedy. Initially I was
influenced by the book on “Essences” of G.
Vithoulkas. After reading this book I was always
trying to ascertain the essence of each remedy. In
order to expand my knowledge I began to study
various schools of thought in psychology and chose
to be trained as a psychiatrist and study the brain
and its functions in depth.
One of my first discoveries based on the
comparative study of the Ancient Greek
Mythology and Astrology, was the
comprehension of the essences of the metal
elements of the planets.
Another discovery was the correlation of the
miasm theory with the four elements of fire,
water, earth and air. Furthermore, I was able to
uncover a correlation between miasms and the
fixations of the psychoanalytic theory.
Moreover, I was able to discover the
correlation between the typology of the four
basic types of Pavlov and the miasm theory.
In the early 90’s I began to study the work of
R. Sankaran. My trip to Bombay and the study of his
books “The Spirit of Homeopathy” and “The Substance
of Homeopathy” were a landmark in my way of thinking.
