1. What are human rights?


- Human rights are principles that respect and preserve the dignity of all
people. Human rights control how individuals live in society and interact
with one another, as well as their relationship with the State and the
responsibility that the State owes to them.

2. What laws or legal documents ensure the human rights of Filipino?

- The rights of Filipinos are codified in Article III of the 1987 Philippine
Constitution. It is also known as the Bill of Rights, and it contains 22
clauses that outline the rights and privileges of Filipino citizens, which the
Constitution must safeguard at all costs.

3. Do criminals or those who break the law still enjoy human rights?

- Everything and everyone. Criminals, the president, and police officers are
all human beings. The force of human rights originates from their
recognition of everyone as equal in terms of human dignity. It is the
responsibility of the state or government to "respect, preserve, and fulfill"
these rights.
