us with your presence.

Good morning, it’s a pleasure for 4th “B” to be in charge of this


ceremony today Monday, February 26th 2018.

2.- To start our civic ceremony, we ask everyone present to discover our
head, receive standing and with the position corresponding to our
national flag.

Para dar inicio con nuestra ceremonia cívica, pedimos a todos los
presentes descubramos nuestra cabeza, recibamos de pie y con la
postura correspondiente a nuestra enseñ a nacional.

A continuació n cantemos con todo respeto nuestro glorioso himno

Carlos: February 2, 1848 The Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo is signed in


Mexico City, between Mexico and the U.S., putting an end to the U.S.
Intervention. As a result of the treaty, Mexico has to exchange huge
territories in the north (Texas north of the River Bravo/Grande, New Mexico,
Upper California) for 15 million pesos.

Sammy: February 3, 1939 By decree of President Lázaro Cárdenas, the


National Institute of Anthropology and History (INAH) is created, Its first
director is the archaeologist Alfonso Caso.

Andrei: February 5, 1857 A new Constitution is proclaimed. It takes effect on


September 16, 1857.
Valeria: February 8, 1969 A meteorite, estimated to be 4 million years old,
older than any previous known meteorite in Mexico, falls on the Valle of
Allende in Chihuahua.

Santiago P: February 14, Valentine’s Day. In Mexico this day is to celebrate


friendship, as well as love.

Salvador: February 20, 1943 A brand-new volcano, subsequently


called Paricutín, erupts in a farmer’s field in Michoacan. It attracts world-
wide attention.

Emiliano: February 24, Flag Day Civic ceremonies take place to honor the
Mexican flag, the tri-color.

8. El 24 de Febrero México celebra el Día de La Bandera Nacional.


La Bandera Nacional Mexicana es un símbolo de libertad, justicia y
nacionalidad. Su escudo y sus colores representan el origen, principio, valor y
lucha de los mexicanos.
A continuación reseña de nuestra Bandera Nacional.
