1. Identifying the research problem:

1.1 Research problem:

I was appointed to 1C Grade school to get an internship teaching practice on 15th of March
2021. In there I had to teach Information and Communication Technology to grade 6-13.
When I was teaching to grade 6A I faced some problem in the classroom because some
students shouting in the class and they did other works & talkimg unnecessary things
when I started my lesson . That students did not paid attention on lesson and did not do
the activities within the time period .I was unable to do lesson successfully because of
that problem. Therefore I decided to do my action research on ‘Role play’

1.2 Objectives

 General objectives

1. To invole the students into the subject matters & get good feedback from
them.

 Specific Objectives :

1. To attract to students to study in an interesting way.


2. To get back the attention of the students in the teaching learning activities
3. To do effective activities to practice words in proper way
4. To get the studnts attention through the lesson
5. To get invole the students into the lesson

2. Description of the content

2.1 Find out the basic information about the problem:

After I selected my problem, I started my action research for the target group. The students
those who are not invole in the ICT are my target group. Before doing any actions, I wanted
to inquire some more about those students, Get informations about this students from other
subject teachers , I got some information through my reflective gernel & I used to follow
observation & data gathering methods and tools to gather needed data about my selected
students.

 When I gave activities to the students they did’t do in proper way

 Not intrested in learnings

 Doing other subject activities

 When I started my lesson they starts shouting

 They did’t response in proper way

 I got infromation through my refelction gernal

 Did some activities to checked their response level

II Literature review

 There I used different psychological theories to get clear idea on this problem.

some ways to get a classroom’s attention. Some may work better than others
depending on your grade level, teaching style(activities), personality, or the
personality of the class itself–down to who shows up to school that day and who
doesn’t. and some ideas to get the students attention,

 Students in grade 6 in secondary level

 Selected four students

 The duration of the research is maximum 4 months
