World Earth Day

World Earth Day is celebrated on the 22 nd of April. It is celebrated by encouraging the people
to save the Earth by providing them knowledge about the protection of the Environment.
There are many people who are not aware about the importance of protecting our
Environment. As a responsible institution, the Asian Law College organised an event to
create an awareness among people to save our Environment at DPS NTPC Greater Noida.
There school teachers with students of the Asian Law college who participated in the
programme. All the people pledges to save the planet earth.

World Water Day
World Water Day is an annual UN observance day on 22 March that highlights the
importance of fresh water. The day is used to advocate for the sustainable management of
freshwater resources. The focuses are on the relevance of clean water, sanitation and hygiene,
which is in line with the targets of Sustainable Development Goal. World Water Day is an
international observance day. The intention is to inspire people around the world to learn
more about water-related issues and to take action to make a difference. Keeping the above
said objective, i.e., to create an awareness, , the Asian Law College, on 22rd March 2016,
organized an awareness program in Asgarpur village on water preservation. All the 25
students, faculty members and guests participated in this event with great enthusiasm. At the
camp, the consequences of reducing water resources and water shortage were explained as
well as water conservation was promoted.

World Environment Day
On 5th May 2016, the Asian Law College organized a painting competition on Water
Conservation. Faculty members along with the students also planted trees in the campus.
There were 100 Volunteers along with students of Asian Law College who took part in the
Programme and participated. All the volunteers, along with other students, faculty members,
and guests actively participated in the event and made it successful and productive too.

Tree Plantation
The Faculty members of the Asian Law College planted trees to save the environment and
make the campus green on 24 August, 2016. There were volunteers along with students of the
Asian Law College who took part and participated. The event went really well by cooperation
of our students and faculty as they together planted trees around the campus, and
acknowledged the students about the importance of tree plantations and planted trees at
different locations.

Awareness Program on “Eco-Friendly Diwali” Celebration
Diwali or Deepawali is known as the ‘Festival of Lights' and is one of the most important
Hindu festivals in India. Festival of Lights is celebrated to mark the return of Lord Ram to
Ayodhya along with Devi Sita and brother Lakshman after 14 years of exile (vanvaas).
Diwali or Deepawali essentially means the Awareness of the Inner Light. In a way, it is the
celebration of the awakening and awareness of the Inner Light which has the power to
outshine the darkness. On this day, people decorate their home with diyas, rangolis and
decorative lights, wear new clothes, exchange sweets and gifts with each other, burn crackers
and in the evening perform, Lakshmi Pujan. Deepawali is celebrated exactly after ten-days of
Dussehra or Vijaya Dashami.
Burning firecrackers causes health hazards because of the air pollution caused by the smoke
of firecrackers. Pollution is a big issue of the present-day world and has many bad effects on
the environment.
The Asian Law College organised an awareness programme on bursting green crackers and
pollution free Diwali on 11th November 2018. All the students, faculty members and guests
participated in this event with great enthusiasm. Students went on an awareness rally,
spreading the message to celebrate noiseless and green Diwali using placards with
meaningful slogans. They also distributed pamphlets to the passers-by and urged them to
maintain a clean and pollution free environment. All the volunteers were very active during
this event.
Awareness Program on Dustbin Colour (Segregation of dustbin)
The faculty members of Asian Law college organise an awareness program on the Shah
Public School Delhi for the purpose of educating the students regarding the management of
waste i.e. Segregation of dustbin. A ppt is presented to the students for proper understanding.
As colour of dustbin play an important role in waste management. All the teachers and
students participated in the program.

Awareness on Global Warming at ___________
On _________ , an Awareness Programme on Global warming was organised by the Asian Law
College in the village ________ .

65 students volunteered for the event. All the volunteers were very active and energetic during this
session. They all made the day with a lot of eagerness and activeness.
‘Save water Save Life’ Painting Contest at ___________
On ________ , the Asian Law College organised a painting contest on the theme of ‘Save Water Save
Life’ in the _________ .

All the 55 students, faculty members and guests participated in this event with great enthusiasm. At
the camp, the consequences of reducing water resources and water shortage were explained as well
as water conservation was promoted.
Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan at _________
The Swachh Bharat Abhiyan is the most significant cleanliness campaign by the Government of India.
Shri Narendra Modi led a cleanliness pledge at India Gate, which about thirty lakh govemment
employees across the country joined.

On _______ , Program on Swachh Bharat was organized by the Asian Law College. The college
planned the abhiyan in ________ village and spread awareness about the importance of cleanliness
in the society.

There were a total of 120 Volunteers along with students of Asian Law College who took part in the
programme and participated. All the students, faculty members and guests participated in the event
with great enthusiasm. They all made the day with a lot of eagerness and activeness.
Tree Plantation Activity at _______
On ________ , a cultural event was organised by the Asian Law College in the university campus to
encourage students to plant more and more plants.

There were 25 students who attended and participated in the event. All the volunteers showed great
enthusiasm and made the event a huge success. They all made the day with a lot of eagerness and
activeness.
World Environment Day at ________
On 05th June 2017, the Asian Law College organized a painting competition on the ‘Protection of
Environment’. World Environment Day is the biggest annual event in the world run by the United
Nations to mark environmental awareness among the people. Its main objective is to raise
awareness among people to protect the environment by looking at various problems such as drastic
climatic changes, greenhouse effect, global warming, etc. among human beings on the planet Earth.

There were 347 Volunteers along with students of Asian Law College who registered to take part in
the programme. All the volunteers were very active during this session and also, they were
energetic. They all made the day with a lot of eagerness and activeness.
Tree Plantation at ________
On ________ , the Faculty members of Asian Law College planted trees to save the environment and
make the campus green. The program was organised by the Faculty members of Asian Law College,
Noida.

Tree plantation is not only good for the environment and the earth, but it is also a way in which we
can help in making the world a better and cleaner place to live in, as trees help to bring down the
levels of pollution.

There were a total of 30 volunteers who took part in the program and participated. All the students,
faculty members and guests participated in the event with great enthusiasm. They all made the day
with a lot of eagerness and activeness.
