1. Instructions:

a) This Insight Paper (Paper 2) is 70% of the Module 2 grade.

b) Globalization is experienced by different units of the society. Based on the ideas that you
learned in this module, assess your personal experience of globalization in your family. The
idea and the experience of "family" may include its extended members (uncles, aunts,
cousins, grandparents).

 Use the pronouns I, we, me, our, mine, and our to make your composition truly
personal. Never use the third person – they.

c) Structure/Format

 I. Introductory Paragraph: Write the context/background. Make sure that you connect
your thoughts here to the Module 1 and 2 lessons. Your last sentence/s must be your
main point. Set it/them in bold letters.

 II. Effects of Economic Globalization: Assess the effects of economic globalization to

your family. Elaborate two benefits and two drawbacks. How have you and/or your
family responded and is responding to these benefits and drawbacks?

 III. Effects of Political Globalization: Assess the effects of political globalization to your

i) No need for references because the discussion is supposed to be coming from your own
reflections.
j) Be reminded of the Integrity Policy of Mapua.
k) Read the Instructions carefully and follow them.
l) Similarity match is going to be checked. Make sure that your activity does not go beyond 10%.
m) Check the Rubric (no. 2) below for scoring so that you will know how to get high score.
n) Submit before the deadline on the proper button or name of the task.
o) Late submission (after the soft deadline but within the hard deadline) will receive 15/20 as the
highest score.
p) Do not settle for the minimum number of words if you want a higher grade.
q) You are not allowed to submit your activity via Blackboard Course Message unless you were
specifically instructed to do so.
