A Brief History:
“Smart Apparels Jockey” owned by Mr. Jagsaa Sirvi started its business in 2017 in Pune,
Hinjewadi area. Mr. Jagsaa Sirvi has its two stores , one located in hinjawadi and the other
one located in Datta Mandir Road Pimpri, Wakad, Pune, Maharashtra Both stores have a
wide range of products offer in innerwear, loungewear, and activewear categories for men,
women, and kids according to the requirements of their customers.
Jockey is the leading manufacturer and marketer of comfort apparel sold in more than 140
countries as well as one of the world's most loved brands. After leading the inner-wear
category for both men and women, Jockey has moved to widening its offering in the
outerwear category with T-shirts, Jackets, Track pants, Loungewear, Socks, Towels, Tank
Tops, Capris, Shorts, Thermals and the entire Kidswear range.
Workers and employees: Mr. Jagsaa Sirvi is a sole owner of “Smart Apparels Jockey” and
currently has two staff memebers. He has a skilled workforce which enables him to maintain
quality standard and operate efficiently.
“Smart Apparels Jockey” opens at 9:30 in the morning and it closes at 10:30pm. Rush hours
are usually during the evening time from 4-9 pm.
Top Selling Product: Jockey innerwear is one of the best-sellers sold mainly because of the
reason that it comes in an array of styles and is light in weight. Track pants are a bottom wear
that have gained immense popularity in the last few years as they are very comfortable.
Pre covid and post covid: The business was dropped by almost 50%. Mr. Jagsaa Sirvi
mentioned that currently, on an average he gets 200 customers per day. The number of staff
members are reduced to only 2 and before covid he had a staff of 4 people in one store.

Accounting: All the accounting works are done by Mr. Jagsaa Sirvi himself.
Inventory Management: Mr. Jagsaa Sirvi gives the order to the company, company sends the
products to the distributor. The ordered quantity is then delivered by the distributor to the
retailer.
