Recollect the learnings of the module and list down the key learnings. Reflect on how you will
make use of those learnings in your professional life

The module "People, Leadership, HR Strategy" key learnings which I can contemplate about are
as follows;

 MCFL case: This case described how the majority of the executives had failed to see the
vision of Dr Mallya, i.e.MCFL can be one of the most profit-making Entity. Furthermore, DP
Mehta visualization of Dr Mallya's vision and turning the notion into reality, the biggest
strength of DP Mehta finding, picking and placing the right people in the right place as GVA
Shastry, Divakarr Bhatt, A. Rudrachary and S.Kannan. At the end of the session, one
essential thing was also made clear: Leaders' qualities complement the Entity's ongoing
issues and situation.

 Managerial Type: This session is engrossed and built on where we left in the MCFL case,
i.e., Leaders' qualities have to complement the Entity's ongoing issues and situation, hence
describing the type of leadership as per the situation's demand. In this session, the 56
questions questionnaire gave an insight and chance for self-assessment into my leadership
style and how to improve it. This also helped me to spot different kinds of leaders and
managers. Overall, this session was one of the most mind revitalizing sessions I had in a
long time.

 Richer Sound Case: The Richer Sound case was a fascinating case of a unique employee-
centric and customer-focused organization. The learning from the case was to focus on
employee satisfaction to gain customer satisfaction.

I am working as a Commercial, Business Development and Strategy professional in my organization


(an Oil and Gas company). The module helped me to embed and validate what I am doing right in
my career when dealing upwards, downwards and across within the organization. At the same
time, the module also helped me explore the areas of growth and improvement and put a plan in
motion to improve as a leader and human being.
