1.Borobudur Temple 2. Ijen Creater
Borobudur Temple is the largest Buddhist
temple in the world, located in Magelang,
Central Java. It is called one of the seven
wonders of the world. The concept of a
unique and magnificent building that
UNESCO has noted that Borobudur is
included in one of the world heritage sites.

Currently, Borobudur Temple is still actively


used for religious events that are usually
carried out by Buddhists, especially on big
days such as Vesak Day. Borobudur Temple
is the work of past civilizations which has
high artistic value and is full of historical
value in it. This temple monument actually
consists of six terraces that have a shape like
a square. Visitors can also see beautiful and

Ijen Crater is an acidic crater lake at


the top of Mount Ijen, Banyuwangi, East Java

3. Cartenz Peak
Despite its status in the tropics, Indonesia is awarded a natural wonder in the form of snow
which is usually only found in countries with sub-tropical to moderate climates. This snow can
be found on the Cartenz Peak which is the highest peak in Indonesia which is included in one of
the seven summits on 7 continents of the world. The peak of this mountain has a height of 4,884
meters above sea level.

The peak of Cartenz is in the Jayawijaya


Mountains which includes three districts,
namely Puncak Jaya, Intan Jaya and
Mimika. This is the only place in Indonesia
that is covered in snow. To be able to see
the snow at the top of Cartenz, a traveler
must climb for approximately 12 days .

4.Raja Ampat Island


The Raja Ampat Islands are located in the
province of West Papua. Raja Ampat has the
beauty of extraordinary underwater scenery,
even the whole world recognizes it. The beauty
of the underwater world is so enchanting, with
various types of fish species and coral reefs that
live naturally. Living coral reefs are a source of
food for thousands of species of fish and other
marine animals. This very natural and
enchanting ecosystem is what makes Raja
Ampat dubbed the Amazon of the World Ocean

Diving in Raja Ampat you will be spoiled with


views of various species of fish that you have
never even known before. Remember, 75% of
the world's fish species reside in Raja Ampat.
There are at least 1500 species of fish, 537 species
of coral, and 699 invertebrates that you can find
in the underwater world of Raja Ampat..

5. Takabonerate

The hidden pearl in eastern Indonesia besides Raja Ampat is Takabonerate which is
located in the Selayar Islands Regency, South Sulawesi. The natural beauty of
Takabonerate makes it a very interesting natural and marine tourism. The beauty of this
island has been named the third best in the world after the Maldives and the Marshall
Islands in the Pacific Ocean.

Takabonerate National Park is the largest coral reef area (atoll) in Indonesia and even in
Southeast Asia with a very high level of biodiversity. Located in the Coral Triangle
Initiative (CTI), this area is a habitat for a variety of rare and protected marine biota. if

Called the largest atoll in Southeast Asia, Takabonerate National Park is the third largest
atoll area in the world after Kwajalein in the Marshall Islands and Suvadiva in the
Maldives. The total area of this national park is 530,765 hectares, of which 220,000
hectares are atolls and lagoons with a coral reef spread of 500 km ².
