I. Event Details

Activity Title “Mentor 001: Let the Games Begin!”

Description An online event in celebration of Lasallian Mentors Day that
will express student’s gratitude and appreciation to the
Benildean Associates through tokens and fun-filled
activities.

II. Rationale
This event will show honor and appreciation to each Benildean associate through activities and performances
prepared for the faculty and staff. Despite remote learning, the Lasallian Mentor’s Day will provide a moment of
pleasure and delight to the hardworking mentors. The theme of this year’s Lasallian Mentor’s Day is entitled
“Mentor 001: Let the Games Begin!”.

Objective:
● To recognize the dedication and professionalism of the Lasallian Mentors through the special event;
● To solidify relationship between mentors and students through interactive games; and
● To give a time of leisure and enjoyment to the hard-working mentors despite distance learning.

IV. General Guidelines & Mechanics:

1. The event shall be prepared and organized by EDUCERE.
2. The event will include all the professors and associates in De La Salle College of Saint Benilde Antipolo.
Google meet invites will be sent through emails.
3. Evaluation forms will be sent through email after the event.
4. For the Rebus game, facilitators will show different images that will form a word. The Benildean Associates
will be asked to guess the word.
5. For the special performances, Educere will divide the other programs into 2 groups. Hospitality
Management, Accountancy, Tourism will be Group 1 while Psychology, Communication Arts, Business
Management will be Group 2. Each group must submit a performance video either sing, dance, or other
kind of performance suitable for the event. Each group will be given a minimum of 2 minutes and a
maximum of 3 minutes per performance. Pre-recorded videos shall be sent to EDUCERE on or before
January 22, 2022.
6. For the Red Light, Green Light Game, EDUCERE prepared 10 certificates to be given to each Benildean
Associate. The facilitator will mention the names of the winners of each category. They will have to guess
what category is being presented in the game “Hangman” by raising their hand. They will be given 1 minute
to guess the word. For each wrong answer, a red light will be shown on the screen and a green light will be
shown if they provided a correct answer. They only have a maximum of three (3) wrong answers and the
game will end.
7. For the One Lucky Me, beforehand the Benildean Associates will be given a corresponding number. The
number will be used in the raffle. The facilitators will draw six (6) winners. One (1) lucky winner of 720p
Webcam, two (2) lucky winners of 5 kilos of rice, and four (4) lucky winners of 500ml Hand Soap. The
prizes will be claimed at the campus.
8. The mentor who gained the most points from all of the games will be the overall winner. The overall winner
will receive a 2022 Planner.

VI. Venue Arrangement

The event will be held online using the platform Zoom for the Benildean Associates and the Educere officers while a
Facebook Live Stream will be held for the Benildean community. Educere will send the invitation to Mr. Menes and
Ms. Bello for them to check its content and design. Once approved, it will be forwarded to Dr. Basilio to coordinate
with PODO for dissemination to the associates’ official mailing list. All participants are encouraged to open their
cameras during the event. For a smoother flow of the program, microphones shall be opened one at a time.

VII. Budgetary Allocation

Educere will order face masks and mask holders as tokens of appreciation for Benildean Associates. The face
masks and holders will be bought from Shopee. The price and quantity of face masks, holders, and the delivery fee
is presented on the table below.
