Two men and thirteen years old boy are safe now after being rescued from their tiny boat
which had been adrift in the Gulf of Mexico for twenty fours hours. After their families
had reported them missing, the Coast Guard began searching, but the men were rescued
after waving frantically at a private airplane flying overhead. It turned out that they had
drifted only seven and a half miles overhead from where their engine had broken down.

NASA officials have expressed a great deal-of concern recently over the descent of
Skylab, a satellite which is slowly making its way back to earth and is expected to reenter
our atmosphere within the next two weeks. The aluminum Skylab is not expected to
disintegrate on reentry. In fact, it is feared that some 400 to 500 pieces, some weighing up
to 1,000 pounds, could survive reentry. These pieces would not all land in one area, but
would be 3 spread over hundreds of miles causing a great deal of damage to property and
endangering human lives. At this point, we just don’t know where or when it will come
down or how much damage it might cause.
