Ans. The main achievement of the Qin is the fact that it unified China, creating the first dynasty ruled by the
first emperor Qin Shi Huang. Other well-known achievements is the creation of the Great Wall and a large army
of Terracotta Warriors.

Q.8. What were the major changes brought after the succession of Qin Dynasty to Han Dynasty?
Ans. Those harsh methods, combined with the huge tax levies needed to pay for the construction projects and
wars, took their toll, and rebellion erupted after Shihuangdi’s death in 210 bce. after a short transitional period,
was replaced by the Han dynasty. When the Han Dynasty collapsed in 220 CE, no one was powerful enough to
reunify China under a single emperor.
