Comparative study on the satisfaction level of Product A

and Product B
A. Conceptual Framework

B. Statement of the Problem

a. What is the satisfaction level of products A and B?
b. Is there significant difference on the satisfaction level between
products A and B?
C. Hypothesis
H0: There is no significant difference on the satisfaction level of products A
and B.
D. Statistical Tool
C.1 Assumptions
Normality: The difference of satisfaction level for products A and B
met the assumption of normality, D(385) = 0.043, p > 0.05.

C.2 Tool
Since the difference of satisfaction level for products A and B
met the assumption for parametric test, hence, the researcher will
use Dependent t-test.
E. Results (Parametric)

F. Conclusion (Parametric)
On average, the satisfaction level of Product B (M = 5.57, SE = 0.09)
is greater than Product A (M = 5.46, SE = 0.09). The difference was not
statistically significant t(384) = -0.873, p>0.05.

E. Results (Non-Parametric)
Effect Size
We will use the equation to convert z-score into the effect size estimate r
by Rosenthal (1991)
𝑍 −3.951
𝑟= = =− 0. 20
𝑁 385

F. Conclusion (Non-Parametric)
On average, the satisfaction level on the basketball court of male
(Mdn = 5.40) is greater than female students (Mdn = 5.0). The difference
was statistically significant U = 13976.5, z = -3.951, p < 0.05 and
represents a small-sized effect r = -0.20.
